no. I borrowed my brother's action replay and got a shiny Melloetta. I used pokemon transporter to try to transport it into pokemon X. but thanks to game freak's hack check I wasn't able too transport it.

Plus genesect was resurrected from a fossil (but genesect itself isn't a fossil Pokemon) like kabutops is. I believe they are and genesect is a fossil Pokemon that was worked on and changed by science

Hey Rodri before you start a new game in black 2 go to the "unova link" at the main menu and select the "memory link" and next the "Wireless via DS Communication". Have another DS with your saved Pokemon Black game file on so it sends out flashbacks & References in black 2 while playing and give others like battling against Cheren & Bianca after you beat the elite 4 in black 2. You can look it up.

Next thing you should do: Go to the Abyssal Ruins. You will need the HM Dive, which is with a girl near the Pokemon Center in Undella town. You can get a lot of money with this tactic, over a million Pokedollars! Plus, you can find every elemental plate! There is a catch, that is that after a certain amount of steps, you will be washed out of the ruins

Whoever said that Genesect is Kabutops or belong to the same race is spreading misinformation. Although both of these Pokemon look physically similar, Kabutops is inspired from horse-shoe crab (hence water type) while the Genesect is inspired from ancient wasps (hence bug type). Even the movie clearly depicts that the Genesect built hives. Hope this clearly debunks this Kabutops theory.
