I also like how you blamed the horse - except there’s a feature that when you’re riding through a forest or area with trees, if you let go of the steering the horse will take over and avoid hitting the trees on its own. If Bullet is still alive and not suffering from any neurological issues, you should give it a try. It’s definitely improved my travel experiences and saved more than a few oatcakes!
