I remember when I did the third Green Star in Shiverburn. I hadn't looked up any guides or walkthroughs, or seen any videos of Green Stars at all before, but I had a gut feeling that I needed to keep all my clouds somehow in order to get the third star. When my intuition proved correct, I considered it a personal crowning moment of awesome. Even better that I somehow did it on the first try. :0 Well, considering the other green stars, burning yourself on the meteor doesn't seem too ridiculous.

I just have to say, thank you NCS for bringing a smile to my face after getting a Wisdom Tooth pulled. Hurts a lot, but watching you helps ease the pain a little.

LOL an episode with hilarious deaths..haven't seen one of those in a while..I love it when you don't know what to do in certain situations..it shows how creative you can get...it reminds me of watching you figure things out at the stone tower in your majoras mask lp ^-^

I knew this would be a really funny video when I saw the word "Massacre" in the title, but this was your funniest video of the series yet! I laughed so hard watching Mario get his ass burnt over and over! And keep doing the Green Stars blind because it's more funny when you don't know how to get to them at first!

Hilarious bit I found a long time ago but I forgot to mention... Just because it has Mario in the title doesn't always mean you'll be playing with him! Perfect example would be Mario is Missing you play as Luigi and Yoshi, so there's one exception.

I think one of the green stars might be inside a one-up mushroom, I saw sparks coming from it in the video (the one up at the thwomp stairs, where you get on top of one the thwomps)

in the preview, you could see the green star on the top of the fortress in green star 1 for Whomp's Fortress (Throwback Galaxy)

yes the big double ringed one are launch stars, but the small one are sling stars

@KingClubba You mean the first one? The right angle and a well timed triple jump. You gotta remember all of the stars in the game are made for Mario to get. Luigi is the game so the player has an option for who they want to play as. Using Luigi makes some easier but none of them are impossible to get with Mario.

Btw NCS remeber that some green starts can only be gotten with luigi because Luigi jumps higher than Mario, so keep that in mind.

The entire time you were trying to get the green star in Shiverburn Galaxy, I was saying, "Cloud Flower! CLOUD FLOWER!!" I never played this game and I figured it out. Love the video though.

Holy crap, I didn't notice until just now: Flower and Mushroom for the powerups isn't just random! Mushroom powerups deactivate when you enter a Sling or Launch Star, and Flower powerups don't!

the third star in shiverburn is the one where if you long jump from the start as Luigi towards the side of the volcano it takes you right to it. It's like a 14 sec. star to get!

You don't understand how they missions work! Sure, bowsers galaxy generator had boomerang bros, but they were for a comet mission, one separate from the main one! The differences you see are from the developers using different mission layouts for the prankster comet missions!

the reason you didnt find any clouds in whops fortress is because green star #1 is the same as the first normal star so theres no clouds, BUT green star #2 and #3 are in the SECOND star of whomps fortress where there is clouds. if that makes sence

@Essenji ok sorry i just realised from reading your coment that you are right... i got all green starts as luigi because some of them are easyer to get with him and not with Mario but yh i just checked the wiki lol and you can get them with Mario too....i just cant imagine geting the 1st green start in stone cyclone as mario

@StrongIntelligent Super Mario 64 is the first game I ever played on the first console I ever owned. Seeing an old world again was nostalgic. Too bad the cannon wasnt there though, I definately would have tried to blow a chip off the block.

Funny, I realised at 3:25 exactly that you needed to use Clouds to get to the star, but he didn't realise until two minutes later in the video, all the while I'm screaming in my head "YOU NEED TO USE CLOUDS!!". :P Also, wouldn't it have been awesome if they chose star locations from the original 64 to put the green stars in? That would have made that level for me.

for the third green star in shiverburn you need at least one cloud left until you get to the second checkpoint. Then just backflip where the one up is.
