NCS: if you get to the fourth section with two clouds remaining (and you always will, since there are no checkpoints), you can skip over pretty much the entire part with the fireball guys and it makes that part a lot easier. When you get one star bit at the beginning of each run, after many fails you will have a lot that you can use on the the hammer bros (it would be easier if you had a second Wiimote so another person could shoot them for you).

I just thought of a way to make this level even more evil. Replace those platforms that flip when you spin with the platforms from Beat Blocks Galaxy. I can't even imagine...

Perfect run is seriously the only star I never got (and I never really went back to it when I unlocked it) but I might give it another shot while watching the last video of this LP.

@@corundumkrabble5035 I did think I tried at the time, but at this point I don't think I've touched Galaxy 2 in over a decade. I've been wanting to go back to play the original as well (I have the All-Stars version on Switch but haven't gotten around to playing it yet) and when I'll do I'm sure I'll try it again. I'd like to think I'm a bit better than I was at 15 I just don't have the time I did back then to play these games.

Just to let you know Tim, I went over to my friend's house the other day, and decided that we would try and finally complete this game by taking on the 242nd try. We amassed 99 lives using the koopa technique and set off on our grand adventure of failure. 2 and a half hours later and 99 lives out of pocket, we were no better than when we started. Just letting you know :D

NCS, in phase 5, on the last safe platform before the pull star, you don't need to use the next two platforms. You can use the pull star from there.

Oh boy, this galaxy. I remember doing this, and The Perfect Run blind for my broadcast... it was an experience. Took an hour to do both, but I honestly quite enjoyed it! Quick tip for The Perfect Run, at the Pull Stars segment, at the first pull-star, you can bypass the last two moving electrical bars on the ground by doing a back-flip and catching the pull-star on the way up. I found this helped IMMENSELY to make that 5th section completely harmless. Hope this helps!

lol I loved your bob-omb voice! I have been waiting for you to do the grandmaster galaxy. NCS failure is HILARIOUS XD I had so much trouble with the prankster comet on this galaxy that I had to call in a second player to help. It becomes SOO much easier with two players. Mainly because the second player can freeze any of the enemies and obstacles. The ending was hilarious! I REALLY can't wait to see you do the prankster comet.

Some tips for The Perfect Run: On the fourth part, just try to speed through it - the fewer chances you give them to shock you, the better. On the fifth section, you can grab the first Pull Star after the first electric shock. For the final section, remember you can spin to destroy hammers and boomerangs. And don't forget the crouch trick! You also do not need to kill the Hammer Bros at the beginning before the Sling Star. Do kill the ones that are near the Boomerang Bros, though. Good Luck!

A little tip for the Hammer Bros. Section: Do it as if you're playing Super Mario Bros. ... Rush ahead and ignore the Hammer Bros.! Get out of their reach as soon as possible! As for the Flip-Switch segment, keep in mind that you're always gonna have 2 clouds for it. Keep them for near the end of that segment to skip a tremendous amount of trouble.

The key to beating the flip platform/ laser segment is speed and long jumps. rarely if ever spin, just jump diagonally from one flip platform to the next after the end of the 3-laser-ring pattern. Then when you get to the end of a section, long jump and don't spin to the next, you'll soar over a laser on the landing perfectly. I think that is how the designers set it up. The daredevil one is... wow... It's horrid. It took me like 200 tries to get it. No joke. Good luck!

lmao your voices for the lumas are so lol also for the cloud part with the electric fences, theres a one up right at the beginning at the top left, even for the daredevil, so thatll def come in handy so you dont have to go through a game over a million times

when attempting the daredevil run, always try to use the backflip for the section as cloud mario, plan out the route you need to take for section 4, in section five, just get to the end of the first lazer segment and position the camera so you can grab the blue star and skip the other two hazardous segments you had trouble on, and for the 6th, good luck.

In Super Mario Bros. 3 World 1, level 4 and 6 are the hardest levels... Its the only thing I could think of :P Great video, I think the daredevil run should be uncut and like 4 hours long. It would be a hell of a way to end a hell of an LP.

Most likely never. Galaxy 2 was only intended to be an expansion pack at first, but they got WAY carried away with the whole thing. Expect another big change in Super Mario Wii U

Time must stop when the stars appear. So Mario wouldn't see the animation of it appearing. It would just show up for him. Or the stars appear so fast that it looks like time has stopped but really we are just seeing it slowed down. Man the things my brain comes up with sometimes.

Get on yoshi while on the marioship and use the flowers to get to a special area where there's lots of apples that you can eat for starbits. Use the cloud on the marioship to go up to a giant cloud that I think has coins on it.

Just gotta say ducking under the Boomerang Bros Boomerangs saved my ass in TPR. It is SOOOOOOOOOO effective. Just make sure to take out the hammer bros that are close enough to hit you with the hammers. It is time consuming but it works.

On the electric barrier stage at the start of it you can skip those platforms to the right if you long jump and grab onto the pull star. Thumbs up so NCS can see this!
