Congratulations! I don't remember if I ever finished this one, it's such a slog at times. Watching it was a fun journey!

Holy hell this was such a slog! It actually took me a few days to finish watching from start to end, as I had to watch bit by bit as time permitted (and then I totally forgot to comment lol). But man, after a solid one and a half year (and five months for this scenario itself!), finally this campaign is over! Fairly well played (although I must say, it could've been a lot faster and more efficient with better tactics) and good to see the Drakes came through in the end. I really wish you hadn't lost your loyal Spectre though, as he was one of the story characters and rather cool. I would've replayed that turn just to save him, but okay. Now I'm quite excited to see what campaign you play next! I wish you would play Heir to the Throne or Delfador's Memoirs, as those are my two favourites! But I guess it's not upto me to decide, that choice will depend on what the community votes for, and that's okay.

Are you still planning on making wesnoth videos? If you do, please give the user-made campaigns: "invasion from the unknown" and "After the Storm" a try. They act as the sequels to under the burning suns despite not being mainlined. If you enjoyed burning suns, you should like them too.

Maybe for a rest a short scenario 'Forward they cried!'? I would love to see how you play it.

What I realized is as I watched the session again a bit more awake is why I usually avoid putting units on water fields. Drakes only have 20% in the ditch and took some heavy beating. Normally, okay to the end it was a bit rushed, I leave my units on the plain across the ditch to goad the orcs into the water. The 3rd Levels on the walls are much better to handle that way. I've never pulled most of the units to one side and attacked from all sides. so this one was a nice change. Doing the live chat was nice, but doing it in the mid of the week is quite inconvenient. Friday or Saturday would be more convenient as I can sleep in the next day. All in all it was a nice campaign playthrough even if took quite some time for the number of scenarios.

Thanks so much for coming out! Definitely agree that it was inconvenient to do it in the middle of the week, sadly my weekends are gnarly busy at the moment so I didn't have the time to :( hopefully will do that in the future though!

you have a lot of room for improvement. I am still half way through ur campaign, I will update this comment until I finish your series. this comment is meant for your 20th vid not sure why I posted it here but anyway. 1-) illuminate hurt chaotic units, even YOUR chaotic units, so dont put ancient lich next to it. you use it to hurt your allies more than hurting your enemies I feel. 2-) dont be too scared. use bait to lure enemies. You seem to only think about being attacked by the enemy, forgetting that retaliation might also hurt the enemy and create breach in his lines. on top of that ai will usually get his unit exposed. you have to carefully choose which unit as bait: ranger&Lich are good becuz they have melee and ranged retals. vs orc grunts you can also use dwarves. 3-) slow progress come from only one front. if you divide your units you might be able to speed up. in operation princess you could have rescued her quickly if you stroke from multiple sides. 4-) you should try to make ai have least defense when you lure them. in this case, putting ghost in flat ground, instead of cave terrain. 5-) reserved for later.
