I absolutely love this remake, with all the things they added that were introduced in part 2, the better AI, gameplay feels much better & the new animated faces, to me this feels like a new game, still a masterpiece in my book.

I stopped exactly at that mark time. I'm in tears, i just noticed that Joel's watched god effed up at that moment. I always thought it was from years of use, not the night his daughter died 😭

Everytime I was close to a cutscene I was so excited to see the new facial animations. God I love this remake so much, now play part 1 and 2 back to back is so much smoother.

😆 Indeed--I played all of that before your stream, but the video took 3 hours to export, 2.5 hours to upload, and another 90 minutes for YT to process. How far did you end up getting on your day one?

I loved the updated faces and graphics, and I played the remaster. Looking back, Ellie looked really awful. Like an anime character ported to 3D which didn’t suit the rest of the game at all. The expanded mocap is phenomenal.
