This is great :) I've seen another adventure from the same designer, it is Scooby Doo-themed and it was very entertaining. The system is brilliant and encourages a lot of experimentation.

Okay let us get this straight. The movie is good. But it it NOT "The Shining". The book is phenomenal! The movie is about a dude who goes crazy. The book is about the entity that is the hotel, with all its memories and experiences throughout the years. Tirade over, we now return you to your regularly scheduled program. Thank you

You aren't using Wendy right. You can't stick the 2 onto a 3 digit number anywhere you please. You have to use a 1 digit item and a 2 digit item to connect with Wendy's 2.

Did you actually manage to solve the switchboard puzzle? Seems like the game is broken to me.

Yes. We wrote down all the potential middle numbers and then figured out where the pieces can fit. BUT the game _is_ broken. There are too many errors

I hate stanley kubrick's adaption too. It may be a good horror film but it doesn't deserve to be called shining.

I like the '97 movie much better. It doesn't follow the book as closely, but it emulates the feel of the book quite well.
