I gotta say, Timberborn is a REALLY good colony builder. What's cool is that most 'aesthetic' items actively have an effect on how efficient your beavers work. This means that you don't want to necessarily save them for last when it comes to research, and they are a huge midgame boost. It also encourages players to build vertically, since you can layer the worker buffs more efficiently that way.

Just found your series, this looks incredible! Not sure my slow brain can keep up with all there is to do! You make it seem so easy , think I need re watch few times to even get a tiny grasp of the game…thinking easy mode to start ! I want to check out Satisfactory as well. So much to see so little time ! Suggestion: Something I find helpful with certain buildings (this is more useful for Ironteeth than Folktail, but still) is to de-prioritize them for workers. Then, if you have deaths or you add other buildings that you need worked more urgently, the beavers automatically take over the jobs at the higher priority jobs. (In this way, I set Water to highest and extra researchers to lowest.)

I love selecting a few trees in a natural stand to never be cut. Always allows for regeneration of that area without requiring planting more trees.

It doesnt have to be similar to satisfactory to be fun to watch scalti. Timberborn should be right up your alley, if you wanted another good factory builder to avoid burnout, give Dyson Sphere Program a go!

I like games with water physics, will this game give me realistic water physics?

The water physics in the game are fairly simple overall based on how it was programed. There are no aquaducts or hydro electric style systems or water pressure related mechanics. I believe you can demo the game on Steam for about 2 hours or so which would allow you to get a decent sense of it.
