Just for a rules clarification - For cards that can move a wizard or a tower that have a die roll, you can roll the die before announcing if you are moving a wizard or a tower. Rulebook page 5: • If the card depicts a die, roll the die to determine exactly how far a wizard or tower will advance. For each additional die depicted on the card, you may reroll the die once; however, if you do, you forfeit the previous roll. Only after your final roll must you announce whether you are moving a wizard or a tower. Love this game! Enjoy!

Wandering Towers seems fairly well-designed. However, it lacks both definite ending mechanics and catch-up mechanics meaning the game could drag on and someone could be stuck very far behind the rest of the group. Seems casual but I think you still need to have the right people for this kind of game.
