I've been playing with this all day. They did something with this pack for me. I made like 2 grids worth of jewelry and gems, charged them and used the sales table to sell them. I marked it up 300% and made 40k simoleons in one in game day (ended up being like 3 or 4 yard sales because the event is so short). The table is definitely worth it imo. Edit: I got myself a job as a scientist and just dug all around there. Didnt really care about the job just wanted to get to the lot cause there's soooo many dig opportunities

setting a plant to blossoming does sometimes bug out the plant. its a lot safer to set it to mature, because it will still produce harvestables the next time it hits 6 am also, the difference between "start yard/street sale" and "tend table" is that starting a sale is what informs the game to bring sims to the table, while tending the table is what allows sims to actually buy what you're trying to sell hope this is useful for anyone who was confused with this 😊❤

I bought the pack today and installed it but haven't played with it yet. I got it because there was some interesting game play that I saw and a new skill! I don't really do much with hobbies in this game other than gardening but it gave me spellcaster vibes and I LOVE spellcasters and everything looks really nice so I got it. Yay! So glad you have this out. I’m looking forward to getting this and Home Chef Hustle when they have a sale again. I love having my Sims do hobbies, and this is pretty in-depth from what I’ve seen. I also love astrology so the build/buy is very cool to me (and I usually don’t really care about build/buy since I’m a terrible builder and just download something from the gallery that looks nice, lol.) This would be a good hobby to give your sim the trait that makes them build skills faster or complete things faster (one of them does) if it takes a long time to make things (like candles are soooo slooooow!)

I truly enjoy this pack even a few months later. There's something so soothing yet satisfying about it, almost like I'm making the creations myself, and looking for crystals and metals is a lot more fun than i thought, especially if you do a rags to riches. It even made me use djungle adventure more since you're able to find rarer metals and gems there. Then that led me to using the archeology skill as well, which is a lot more fun than i remember. all in all, I'm very glad that I bought this pack even if it wasn't on sale

Here is a challenge I just got "How many generations can you get out of only 3 sims?" This is definitely an inbreeding kind of challenge but I really enjoy watching those videos from you. Anyway you are able to get new sims via woo-hoo, science baby's, and adoption. But the new sims have to relate to one of the three original sims( for best experience I suggest those 3 not be related) I would greatly appreciate it if you would do this, btw science babies can be had with any gender of sim so I recommend using this

The sales table looks a little bit more "normal" than the usual ones. I wonder if you can make a little crystal shop without using the Get to Work retail system? Just put the table inside a separate building on your lot and start your sale. You could pretty up the shop with lots of hippy stuff and moons and shit. Sims would probably come into a building as long as you don't lock them out. They walk into your house without a care in the world! It might be a way to play through the rest of the aspiration with something a bit different?

ive considered doing this as i dont want to purchase a retail lot and lag my poor laptop out any further. for now i just put it in my front porch area and lock my front door to keep them from going inside :) but in the winter it doesnt work out real well (unless i put the outdoor restaurant heater by the table, that helps).... might do this instead

There's a live in store mod. Any crafted item just needs to be left out and marked "set for sale" clicking on the front door allows you to mark up the percentage. You don't have to restock or talk to anyone. Sims will just come in and buy while you're making more or whatever. I do it when my sims sleep too but then I can't use super speed (you can close the shop with the door too) it's called "live in business" by "LittleMsSam" and it comes as lot traits but I only use the store one. Canning sells VERY well especially the small oversized veggies from the henford grocery delivery. Paintings, knited items (not clothes), food, produce straight off the plant, fish out of the tank, tons of stuff. A must have mod.

I love using the sale table, I usually mark up 200% though. BTW, there is also a little painters selling stand where you can sell your paintings. I think it’s cool to use for rags to riches challenges, or just to role play an artist in the city.

I made a crystal/metaphysical shop in glimmerbrook. Sells about 100 diffrent bracelets, necklaces, rings. 2 tables full of tower cut gems. A table of frogs and potions. Bookshelves stacked with more differently cut gems. Can't wait for tarot cards to perfect the shop Honestly one of my favorite things about selling the jewelry is secretly getting dirt on sims. Like if a sim buys a piece of jewelry to help with family issues got to wonder what's going on there. Or a child buying jewelry to help with school work. Relationships issues? Anger issues? It's all interesting especially when a important townie shops like the goths.

It takes longer for the crystal trees to grow than the usual ones. I didn’t time it but it was quite a bit over a week. Once it matures, it does keep you stocked on crystals! ❤

I was happy hearing about this pack, I’ve come up with some story ideas for the future, but it seems a bit empty, mainly with CAS and Furniture…i know people will say “but the jewellery is the point of this pack, it can be worn on your sims or displayed in your house” yes true, but a few more hair, clothing and shoes would have been nice. 😅 I do plan on getting this but might wait to it’s on discount. Did you know you can get any plant in perfect quality in the gallery? Even weed plants if you have basemental drugs. It’s very handy. You can get every crystal and metal to craft crystals, too.
