As a mortician i wish they gave us an actual funeral director career. I would've loved to see that involved since it's a huge part of death!! I note it would've been alot to put in as it's not an easy thing to include (especially as a playable career) but still would've been cool!

@onza1317 I love Cottage living and I think its one of the best non supernatural packs. I think with any supernatural packs, EA does a better job. Considering how bad Get famous, high school years and couple others are. The only occult that was done dirty, was mermaids.

If you look closely at the body laying on the floor at Grim's headquarters, and you are familiar with old commercials? You will notice that it is fashioned after the Crash Test Dummies from the commercials that were shown in America. It's awesome that someone at Maxis knows about this little trivia and added it to this DLC. Maxis surprises me from time to time. Great job, Maxis. I get a kick and I'll get a kick out of it if I get a chance to play with this. That's hilarious! Major LOL!

Mod tooling creator here! The reason the kid didn’t have Grim in his family tree or the trait is a technical one. Each Sim in a save is unique to that save, even if they’re special NPCs like Father Winter or Grim. When you combine that understanding with the fact that the pack has to properly handle coming into saves that didn’t start with Life and Death, you begin to see the problem. This is the same reason why there’s an implied past between Crumplebottom in Cottage Living and Crinkletop in Horse Ranch, but no actual in-game ties like a divorced relationship bit. Could they have made it work for just new saves? Maybe… but they probably avoid apparent inconsistency as much as possible so as not to confuse players.
