You need to send your agents to the villages you have helped in order to get soldiers. So check your archives to find the related hearing about the specific village. If you helped them send the agent; if you didn't, well find another village.

The scarf doesn't "hurt" your children. But if you give it to Cedani you'll understand what it means better.

But what sort of King would his grace be if he hardened his heart? Is it worth fighting for a kingdom if the morals you and your kingdom stand for is flushed down the royal loo. (Out of character i like to see content creators choose the path less traveled - the more difficult path)

WE CANNOT FEED THESE BARBARIANS! Boys, too many boys we have in this council. You were in your mother's belly when we were besieged last time. Come and look me in the eyes and tell me how devastating a siege can be? AND spare me your morals and lessons. We don't need children with Women's hearts. And Your Grace, I advice that we imminently hire mercenaries. 22 men is a lot during a siege (that's why your gathering only 6 men from the villages, if you had even 500 it'd be pretty much game over for the attackers that have only 3000 men).
