Also, if Brooke had not had such a lead, Adam's final deal would have been MASTERFUL. Ignoring Brooke, the scores on the final turn were: Tom: 22, Laurie: 20, Tilly: 18, Adam: 15, Sully: 13. By taking 4 from Tom and denying Laurie the ability to count points, Adam would have been winning by 1 point. That said, Brooke is the Lord of the Board for a reason.

I've recently come back from trying out my local board game club. It was a lot of fun, lots of friendly people, and it made me laugh that whenever a game ended everyone at the table magically pulled out a stack of different board games from no where to pitch to the group next.

Damn I tried my local last year and totally different vibes. Everyone was friendly but like NOBODY spoke. Literally got 3/4 of the way through Concordia before I couldn’t stand it and asked the names of the people I’d been playing silently with for 50 mins 😂 When we played high interaction games like Chinatown it was like playing with a table full of accountants discussing stock. I mean they were having fun and I’m not one to yuck someone’s yum but I play a lot of solo games at home and I wanted a different itch scratched. NRB should have a ‘personals’ section in their patreon page where you can list the city you’re from and join or form your own City branch of BGC.

@@Sadeshking when you become a patron (which you should, by the way; well worth it), you get access to _Uncut_ versions of these BGC episodes. Most of the time it's just a couple of jokes cut for time or a gag that's fleshed out for longer than free viewers realize, though sometimes it's a significant amount of content. The trade-off for the extra content is that the Uncut versions do _not_ have the cutaway segments during which one player talks directly to camera, usually explaining what they just did (that's what I mean by "talking heads"). I don't know about other patrons, but I became one at least in part because I _want to see _*_everything_*_ that they do_ because I enjoy them so much and want to support them in whatever way I can. However, I have two jobs, as well as other channels about which I feel the same way. To say nothing of other obligations. All to say that I simply oftentimes don't have time to watch what is essentially 90% the same video twice (especially when it's a two hour plus beefy boy). But again, I still want to consume every particle of NRB goodness Patrons likely default to the Uncut versions (I know I do). What I have done allows them to easily get to the parts of the free video that they don't have access to on the patron page, with the presupposition that they won't need context because they already have seen what happened. They still have the option to watch the entire free video if they want or can, but if they suffer under time constraints as I do this allows them ease of access to what little their money doesn't actually help them to see

Just played this game for the first time on Saturday. What a fun, fast-paced game! We also had 6 players and I am wondering, for anyone else who has played this at higher player counts, have yo noticed a major advantage for players going first/disadvantage for players playing last? There isn't a balance mechanic for first to last players and the early players filled all of the slots with multiple of their own figures giving them a distinct advantage when voting came up.
