What happened to this planet? Signs abound that something is not right. What caused you to crash? What is infecting the sea life? Who built the mysterious structures scattered around the ocean? Can you find a way to make it off the planet alive?
Disrupt the Food Chain
The ocean teems with life: Use the ecosystem to help you. Lure and distract a threatening creature with a fresh fish, or simply swim as fast as you can to avoid gnashing jaws of roaming predators.
Handle the Pressure
Build a Pressure Re-Active Waterproof Nanosuit, or PRAWN Suit, and explore extreme depth and heat. Modify the suit with mining drills, torpedo launchers, propulsion cannons, grappling hooks and more.
Fear the Night
As the sun goes down, the predators come out. The ocean is unforgiving of those caught unprepared in the darkness. Areas that are safe to explore during the day become treacherous at night, but also reveal a beauty that those who hide from the darkness will never see.
Dive Below the Ocean Floor
Cave systems wind below the sea bed, from dark claustrophobic passages to caverns lit by bio-luminescent life and burning-hot lava flows. Explore the world below the ocean floor, but watch your oxygen levels, and take care to avoid the threats lurking in the darkness.

Aye, that's pretty unlucky. I myself had a heart attack moment - I was going after lifepod 19, you know the one in the creepy dark trench? that one, I was properly spooked already I mean the atmosphere, the eerie sounds, music and all. So as I was nearing the pod and exited my Glasscar(seamoth) BLAM the Emperor makes contact. I FELT my fckng heart stop as my nerves decide that submerging into nitrogen is a good idea at that moment...after calming down (which took at least half an hour and a nice cup'o'tea), getting the stuff, hightailing homebase I haven't approached that place for a good long time...

I remember my first time I ran out of oxygen. I was searching for titanium and other stuff when I came back to my cyclops the energy was 0% and I died because no energy means no oxygen my cyclops was like 500 metres under the water surface so I drowned :/

@@Jean_1999 This is why you should always bring a Seamoth or Prawn with you in the Cyclops in case the power drains. Never rely solely on the Cyclops. It's not really an exploration vehicle. More of a drop off vehicle. Also it's smart to just take the power cells off the Cyclops so they don't drain. And then put them back in when you want to leave. Another way to save power for longer expeditions.

You know when i was playing the game and i got the sea emperor's first message the one she says (What are you) i was being hypnotize by a mesmer and while trying to scan it i got the sea emperor's first message and it scared the crap out me at first i thought the mesmer had another ability if you look at it for too long but swim away the mesmer would do something so disorted that you cant get away but soon i realise it was the sea emperor but still it was scary imagine being hypnotize by the mesmer and you get the sea em emperor's message.
