Psylocke. Her name is PsyLOCKE. My favorite X-Man doesn't get the respect she deserves. By the time Bishop was introduced, Jim was busy with the X-Men Blue Title.

You are correct! Yes, I know that is her name. Psylocke. You have to understand, I was 9 years old when I read New Mutants Annual 2 for the first time and that's how my brain processed it, as Psychlock. What can I say, old habits die hard. I still think of him as Galacticus (I was 8 when I read FF#50) and you would CRINGE if you heard how I pronounce Mjolnir and Mr. Mxyzptlk!!! I was comic nerd in an age before the internet. Thanks for the GREAT comment!!!

@thecomicsamurai10 ай бұрын
@@anthonyclark9441 I hear you! Too funny. You got me thinking and another one I get wrong is Rahne from New Mutants. It's pronounced "Rain", but I always said it like "Dawn" with an R. MY biggest pet peeves is when someone is talking about a comic and they put an image up on the screen and it's a second print, or a facsimile edition. If you're going to talk about a comic, show THE COMIC! When there are slight differences, it makes an impact. Don't critique a comic and then show something else! I will never critique a comic that I don't have in front of me and that I haven't read. Rant done. Thanks for the great comment, I'll try to do better!!!

Did jim lee do all the art inside the comics u showed or just the covers????
@thecomicsamurai9 ай бұрын
I'm not sure off the top of my head. I know that if he did the cover, he PROBABLY did the interiors, but you should always double check. You can just google the issue you want to know about and then "fandom" like "X-men 248 fandom". It's a really good site that shows the cover and lists the penciler. Hope that helped! Thanks for the comment!!!

Nice! Did you buy it off the rack when it came out? That was such an awesome time to be in to comics. It's an iconic image that I think is totally underrated! Thanks again!!!

@@thecomicsamurai I did actually, it was at a pharmacy store and it was indeed from a spin rack.

Solid ranking on this run. My only difference is that I have 269 A tier. The captain america cover is my favorite. I personally think that his best xmen covers came when he started the new series.
@thecomicsamurai10 ай бұрын
Yes! 269 is for sure A-tier when compared to ALL comic covers. I just felt in this run, it couldn't quite hold it's own to the likes of some of the others (268). You made me take a second look though... You might be right. Too fun! P.S. His run on the 1991 X-Men series is soon to come. Thanks for the comment!!!

You should do Silvestri's X-men run, as much as I worship Jim Lee, Silvestri is my all time favorite X-men artist (and comic artist), he deserves a ranking.

Yes! I've got Silvestri's run all lined up, I will film it next. However, I am about a month out from posting it. I agree, Silvestri is the best! He is criminally underrated. So fun to look at his stuff. Thanks for the comment!!!

Mike Zeck. Do Mike Zeck 80's run on captain America, punisher and spiderman. That would be an interesting list to tier.

I thought you were ranking the comics. Like the comic books themselves. Not just the covers. Super misleading and disappointing to me. Its like ranking record album covers without discussing the music. Blahh!
@thecomicsamurai10 ай бұрын
I hear you. Just know that I take EVERYTHING into consideration when I rank these coverS. I think about the inking, story, time frame, lettering, my experiences with it, what kind of a deal I got, the political climate, colors, paper quality, direct or newstand edition I read, storyline it tied into, characters. EVERYTHING. I only rank comics I have read and that are physically in front of me. I realize I'm not for everyone. If I don't suit your taste, I get it and I apologize. I thank you for your comment and from now on, I will clarify the criteria that I use. Again, thank you for the GREAT comment!!!
