this was the practically the first song I listened to this Eurovision season and it hasn't been bested for me yet if I'm honest - it's a beautiful song, sung beautifully and I think it could give Italy another win; they'll certainly break the recent chain of the host country flopping

technically Sweden broke that in 2016 by finishing fifth

@@ZakhadWOW actually the host countries directly prior to 2016 weren't as poor. Germany 2011, Azerbaijan 2012, Sweden 2013(ish), Denmark 2014 had great placements, it was only Austria 2015 that was bottom 5. The countries following 2016 have all placed bottom 5 🤕 Italy could indeed break that chain

This is another very strong entry from Italy. The melody is rather beautiful (the live orchestra really excels in songs like this), and their voices blend together beautifully. It's not my favourite of the selected songs, but I would be very surprised if this doesn't make the top 10.

Agreed, like Sergei, Mahmood doesn't belong outside of the top 10 - I can't personally see it, let alone the fact it's a brilliant song.

There are 2 men: the first, Mahmoood, who speaks about a love relationship, with a man, and the second, Blanco, who speaks about a relationship with a woman. so they compared their relashionships and the impossibility and the difficulty to love. Because love is always love. same for a man who loves a man as for a man who loves a woman. Bye
