I endorse US Captains Training, their Instructors as well as Diamond Marine Services... they have all been very helpful and responsive to any inquiries by email or by phone!! Keep the videos coming!

For Tug and Tow - What light does a Long Tug with a Short Tow show??
@uscaptainstraining2 ай бұрын
@@phildavis2544 a vessel over 50 meters (including tugs) must show a masthead light abaft of and higher than the forward masthead lights. In the case of your question, a masthead light abaft of and higher than the forward two masthead lights.

This sounds like a USCG Application issue. I don't want to assume but I would guess your course Certificate of Completion was over a year old. I see this often because the application process is very confusing. I highly recommend using a consultant to avoid these bad experiences. @uscaptainstraining4 ай бұрын
You are correct. The lecture is focused on where Inland and International are the same. I do have a video in the playlist that is dedicated to Rule 28 Vessels Constrained by Their Draft. Vessels Constrained by Draft is so small compared to the vessels above and below it that I leave it out for simplicity sake and hit on it like the other nuances in the Rules such as sound signals made by RAM vessels in restricted visibility.
