Thank you for the video, I love your videos! Not crazy about these bags for the price. I loved the old le pliage cuir bags, such soft leather! I had two very large ones, mustard yellow and bright red. I had a medium in the Métis leather, in pink, also a small in black. The Métis was okay, but the older softer leather was lovely.

Great review thank you! Totally agree about maybe just calling them "Epure smooth" would be so easy and less confusing. As always, your assessments are spot on, I look forward to the day where they figure out what they are doing 🙏and you are able to rave about them again! Right now, they sure are "missing the mark." Prices increasing and designs seem less sophisticated - the way they are choosing to attach straps etc. It's making many of their newer bags LOOK low quality - we just say they look cheap. I've kind of lost interest in Longchamp for the time being. Some of their newer designs are cute but the prices are just so high for what you are getting. And there seem to be SO many French handbag companies with just as good or better quality and designs up and coming at better prices - making them a better value in my opinion...... I have moved back to the Coach brand bags - they are doing to amazing things, pretty consistent quality in a lower price bracket. Having said that - I haven't lost interest in your reviews - you are always honest and fair and I love hearing a French perspective on Longchamp and handbags in general. In regards to the Epure line - I wonder - do you think it could be kind of a mysterious French thing to change the leather on bags but put them out in an established line? You know keep us all guessing??😃🤣😆

In my opinion, it's a cost-cutting move, plain and simple. Smooth leather costs less. As does permanently attaching cotton straps, rather than adding hardware. As does keeping the majority of these bags unlined, with no interior organization. Even omitting good photos on their websites -- more cost-cutting.

@lmcdowell5616 thank you so much for your support 😘🙏💖💖 yes it is maybe something French because apparently we are weird people 🤣 (well the world finds us a bit strange lol) however i love consistency so maybe it is not 100% something french. I can just say that Longchamp keeps making me a bit crazy with all this!! 🤣 Concerning myself, despite all this i know i will still and forever love Longchamp because i know them for so long and i love and love so much their history but it is also true i am buying less because today prices are not good for what they propose. And you are right there are a bunch of others french brands offering better and cheaper items. Longchamp is forever in my heart but less present in my wallet 🤣

@Elizabeth-d1n I fully agree 👍🙏 yes Longchamp is making cost cutting strategy. It would be understanding if the money they save was used for the company itself rather than using it for their ads with a bunch of influencers who have no clue about the brand 🙄🤣

@bagspassionate I think maybe they took your advice! Have you seen the new "Smoothie Medium Crossbody? It's pretty cute with what looks like a Vachetta leather strap. You probably know - but in case you don't - smoothie in English is a blended fruit (and sometimes vegetable) drink. So that name is kind of adorable. * I just realized since they seem to have a garden/veggie theme for spring it makes sense 😄but also I think they took your advice 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have to be completely honest - I have been mad at Longchamp but the spring bags and scarves... I might be falling back in love 💗💗💗

So many problems. As always, the website (in the US) does not show the interior of the bag. This time, the photos don't even show the strap details -- esp what color it is and what it looks like. You have told us it's nonremovable but adjustable -- in my opinion, a cotton strap should always be removable in case it gets damaged, wears out, or you want to switch it out for leather. I"m with you in hoping a size M tote shows up, as I like the adjustable strap being attached at the far sides for ease of use. The autumnal colors are not my favorites, but I assume new colors will arrive for spring.
