It was a sad Christmas for the family, we had young grand babies and tried to make it normal for them. This sounds like my brothers story. My brother had brain bleed, then got pneumonia, in and out of trach oxygen, mask and flip flopped from reg room, to icu, then Medicare said he had to go to nurse care and refused high nurse care. He passed bc he didn't have a monitor on him and had an event. I'm still reeling. I'm so sorry you're going thru this. Insurance companies are dictating care. At least you're there. I was trying to manage long distance. God's in control.

I'll pray lots for your brother. I hope his luck is much better than my husband. I'm sorry but some hospitals are crappy. When my hubby got the big C we had to force him to go to the hospital. They ended up causing him to get blood clots,one went thru is lung & the rest pooled into his left foot. All because the nurses decided to take the leg pumps off his legs, when they turned him & they didn't put them back on him. 24 hours later he was transferred to a great hospital for the amputation of his toes. I couldn't track because they kicked me out because I refuse to get the Big C shots. Now he is missing half of his foot , his lungs are messed too all because his manager at IMI material handling he forced people to come to with the Big C
