Always looking forward to these! Comments and tips as usual, contains spoilers for the episode: 1) Rane is a good recruit! Decent spread on the weapon stats, so you could give her pretty much anything except a polearm (IIRC, weapon stats mostly affect damage while melee attack affects hit chance), toughness is a bit low in this instance tho'. 2) The waystation had a decent amount of cacti as well, I think it's a good idea to let the idlers mine iron for now however. It'll raise their labouring and athletics at the very least. 3) One of the reasons that make animals dangerous is that they don't block or dodge, they just attack all the time. You could kind of see that in that bonedog fight with Ruka :) 4) Hmm, the twins were probably too far from any proper storage. Or there was something with them being on Passive, but that shouldn't affect jobs IIRC, it should only affect fighting. 5) You could let Rane wear the sandals since she is the slowest, since she'll benefit more. She will still be the slowest but her max speed is increased. It doesn't matter if Sand can run a bit faster if he has to run slower for her to keep up :P 6) Oron was probably just getting first aid. 7) You don't need to go through the Fog Islands, you can just pass on the western side of Rebirth, coming up from Okran's Gulch. It's probably safer than going through the valley, but you might meet Holy Nation patrols either way, and remember, both Park and Sand have pretty big bounties now so they might get recognized *very quickly* by Sentinels. 8) That was a great piece of fanart as well, it is worth re-iterating even if I saw it earlier :P

Forage Animals only works if you have storage for the meats and hides in range of the corpses. It needs a bit of work - that skill really shouldn't rely on having a dump-off spot.

How about just building a single "something" outside of sqinn to create a outpost, just to attract a beast trader? Could be a torch post even i believe. You can simply ignore most notifications, just let them stand there. Or just don't be so stingy and just buy a second house, the one opposite the general market perhaps? I also believe Hobbs is dreaming of a pet goat, he is somewhat crazy rigth? At least i like the idea of a goat joining them.

My playthrough is a bit similar to yours; I also chose to set up in Squin for the convenience. If you run out of space, there's another fixer-upper on the other side of town. I also made a mining settlement just outside of town which grew into a large refining-crafting-farming outpost. Initially, if it's small enough, you dont have to worry about the raids because you can just run back to Squin with your tail between your legs. The raid might not go away if you don't interact with them, so send your fastest runner to see what's up and run back to Squin. Also, sometimes the raids dont attack until you load the area, so you might have to check up on them every now and then to have the raids start properly. As for the coming journey, I have a few words of advice if you don't mind minor spoilers. I've been following your adventures, and I wanted to see World's End before you spoiled it for me. The route you mentioned in the video is very circuitous. That region is called the Fog Islands and contains a city called Mongrel. There are a lot of nasties in that area, more so than what you've encountered thus far. If you head directly north, you can avoid it. If you do end up going there, please please please recruit Beep. He's a free hiver recruit wandering Mongrel--very hard to miss. He's my favourite character so far; I'd love your take on him. If you end up going straight north, there are a number of "Holy Mines" on the way. They contain slaves. On my run, I liberated them and jailed the captors. But I have two stealthy characters with high assassination skill, so it was much easier for me than it will be for you. Anyway, I love your series! It's probably my favourite let's play of all time. I wish you well and much success in your endeavors!

Assume you're referring to Armor Plating. Requires Engineering Research to learn how to create armor plating, which you can only rarely get out of ruins (which Rycon hasn't really touched yet).

Sell value is the only thing you should look at when looting bandits, i noticed you was ignoring armour in favour of less valuable weapons because you got to focused on the quality.

Forage Animal tips: I'm reposting this from one of my previous comments on another creators video. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Shift+Right Click on a cooking station (campfire, stove, etc.) assigns first two jobs. Operate automatic machine: Campfire Haul to: Campfire (this looks for a Storage Meat container to haul from, and load into the campfire) Haul to: Storage: Meat (not required, but will put extra meat away if you are hauling more than what will fit in the campfire) Haul to: Storage: Food ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Order matters when assigning jobs. The jobs read from top down. to mine 5 ore and return it to a storage: ore box, you could use Operate machine: ore deposit Haul to storage: ore But the preferred method is making the most possible number of trips for training athletics, strength, or stealth. You do this by mining one ore and hauling it to storage, increasing your frequency of hauls by five. (Athletics and stealth are best raised by moving while unencumbered, Strength is raised my moving while encumbered.) Haul to Storage: ore Operate machine: ore deposit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - You might want to set up someone to "Forage Animals" to gather any meat, skins, iron plates and electronics. Yes, you can auto-loot the robotic spiders! You will need storage for each for collection to work. I add them above the forage job so that the items will all be moved out of inventory before returning to forage more. Putting Forage first would cause the character to forage, then drop off the first item then return to forage again without unloading the rest right away because of the new space in inventory. Important to note that if you are going to assign Engineering to this same character, You need the Engineering job before the haul jobs or you'll get stuck in a loop picking up and dropping an item. Also, get the blueprint for Basic Furniture so you can build the seating. This will keep characters from just standing around if storage gets full. Not good if outside your walls. Should look like this. Engineering Haul to: Storage: Iron Plates Haul to: Storage: Electronics Haul to: Storage: Skins Haul to: Storage: Meat (if you also add cooking, move the storage: meat after the cooking as shown above) Forage Animals Operate Machine: Stool (or any other seating or training device. You can use non-player seating in towns, but if it is occupied your character won't move toward it until it is empty)

@SaviorOfNirn , I'm aware of that but there is good reason to add it anyway to tweak it to work the way you want it too. forage animal won't work without it, and adding it to mining and hauling in a specific order will cause the character to make a trip 5 times more often, after each single ore is mined. A big advantage when more concerned about building athletics, stealth or strength then just collecting the ore as fast as possible.
