I really appreciate it when mocists post How-to's for their build. Some of us would love to recreate the builds for ourselves, or just use the building techniques used on the moc for future projects.

I have to disagree Ben, I prefer the Silver over the Gold. It provides a bit more contrast to the build because it's in a cooler color pallet to really make that fire pop look hot. It still looks good with the Gold, but having so many warm colors next to each other starts to decrease my interest in the MOC. This isn't exactly a problem with Tahu Master or even Tahu Stars because it tends to be limited to the torso and shoulders, it doesn't also go down to the boots. The Black and Dark Red of course still provide nice contrast for the MOC, but there's something about the Silver that helps cool the MOC down a bit and feels a bit like a containment suit and only his hands and head are able to burst with fire. There's a certain glow to the Gold that feels like that suit is failing, which maybe for a story reason could be neat, but I just really like that Silver.

Well in the end the silver parts from this moc Brandon repurposed for the Definitive Toa Mata/Nuva builds, which are just stunning.

I do genuinely think the way to bring bionicle back if ever again is an adult collectors set for like 500 dollars thats all six toa at this kind of scale.

Ye sure, great build, but it's little to do with Tahu, it could have a different head and would be a totally generic toa / robot.
