The comprehensive explanations about rankings, monsters, gates, resources - this all feels really satisfying, especially when you watch a series like this one in parallel with AoT, where the mysteries keep pilling up on each other - you've made an excellent point about this. Not a bad comparison at all with JJK, Magy. Both animes don't shy away from scenes of very explicit violence. Despite being so weak, as per the ranking system, our protagonist does his best to compensate with quick thinking and seizing any opportunity presented to him. That's very commendable. The brutal deaths once they enter that unexplored area of the dungeon and the insane cliffhanger the episode ends on - it's guaranteed to catch your interest.
