I'm really liking these puzzle games you're doing.

Monsieur Crab, I don't know what you 'do' IRL but, I must say, you'd make the most adorable teacher. :)

He's done a few things on the channel that really give off a strong teacher vibe, a competant teacher at that.

These logic and deduction puzzles are pretty easy, but definitely fun! If you like these puzzles DC, you'd probably like a game called "Hexcells" and it's follow-up "Hexcells Plus!" They're both very logic-oriented like these and it's kinda like Minesweeper, Picross, and various other logic-puzzle games mixed together on various layouts of hex-shaped tiles... The only downside is that the levels aren't randomly generated or anything, so you're limited to the hundred or so levels total across the two games.

You convinced me to download a version of this game and play it all night. Congrats, you've won DC. Also I like your music in the background. La Mulana and Twin Peaks, nice.

The real logic puzzle is why are so many ships so close together in such a disorderly fashion?

Mettan Atem They got gridlocked during the port strikes. :P

So, if something's good for Polyphemus, son of Poseidon (2:30), can it also be good for Nobody?
@natoraishido10 жыл бұрын
I quite enjoyed the Twin Peaks soundtrack in the background.

It would be really awesome to know what music is playing in the background, I heard the Fear Less theme at 2:40 and now I'm wondering what other gems were quietly playing that I missed.

I already love this series. 😊

"Yubotu" is pronounced U-Boat - as in the German submarines, Unterseeboot.
@AbandonedVoid10 жыл бұрын
I think it sounds better as Yubotu. I mean, they invented a new word for their game, wasn't that the point?
@BobisOnlyBob10 жыл бұрын
Abandoned Void It's not a new word, though, it's literally a romanization of the Japanese transliteration of U-boat (ユボーツ). Which I'd romanize as Yubootsu ("U-Boats"), because I'm used to Modified Hepburn romanization rather than Nihon-shiki style romanization.
@PianoBlack10110 жыл бұрын
probably a play on Sudoku aswell.
@RMarsupial10 жыл бұрын
Wait a minute this isn't true is it? Isn't it just a representation of the way Japanese people would pronounce "u-boat"? The name of the game isn't "u-boat" it's... "the way Japanese people would say u-boat" or "Yubotu" isn't it? That's the way I understood it, anyways. Are you saying that Japanese people would pronounce "Yubotu" as "u-boat"?

Kudos DC, My own deductive reasoning is a bit slower than yours but this was very interesting to watch.

DC, do tell me what that wonderful music is!
@XarboyMkII10 жыл бұрын
I think the title is supposed to be a play on U-boat, like a German submarine, because it's like Battleship, but non-copyright infringing.

What's the song that plays around 4:20?
@Shiggedy10 жыл бұрын
I guess this name is derived from U-Boat?
@pigcatapult10 жыл бұрын
That would be my guess, as well. "U-Boat-oo"

I think so, too. I think it's a parody of "sudoku." In which case... AAAAUGH, THE PUNS! THEY BURN!

Anybody else that Yubotu is an anagram of KZbin except without the "e"?

It would be amazing if instead of saying"Well done!" when you solved a puzzle, it said "WOW! You've done it!" Like in Startropics. (I think it was Startropics?)
@NakanaiJP10 жыл бұрын
I believe it's meant to be "Uboat" or "Uboats," as in the German submarine. At least, that's how I'd read it if it were a romanization of a Japanese title.
