I am wondering what a white base with the silver pearl in a Matte clear would look like I am thinking about painting my 69 camaro this combo I saw where you did this in a gloss clear but curious to see what it would look like in matte.

How do you get off the dirt and crap that sticks to the paint, if you can't sand it and polish it? I paint outside like you and get lots of dirt, with gloss clear I can wet sand and polish but with matte....

Thanks GT. Awesome content brother. Think if you use a microfiber towel or tack cloth it will help visualize the finish. If end result is gritty or coarse, the mf towel clings like crazy when you go over it. I normally do this to see if I am getting lots of overspray too. Keep the videos coming!!

If I wanted to cut and buff it to remove orange peel would it lose the Matte finish?

you cant do that with matte unfortunately, matte clear appears matte because the light is hitting a rough texture, so any kind of buffing/polishing will smooth this out and make it gloss. That's the downside with matte, any little scratch of speck of dust cannot be fixed without a respray.

Yeah I know! I have new filters for my old mask, and a completely new mask also.. but I spent less than 30 seconds per coat in an open air space, and about 10 minutes between.. Thanks 👍
