I also need to order my bulbs early. When you order maybe you could mention it as a reminder to us. I also need to take video and pictures of my garden. 🌼🐝

Snapdragons are my favorite cut flower to grow! Agreed the seeds are so tiny, so this year I ordered some from Johnny’s that are pelleted!

I have found that heat mats cause the soil to dry out very quickly so be sure to check everyday. ❤

For scabiosa seeds in soil blocks, I "drill" a little pilot hole in each block with a toothpick and then gentle press the pointy end of the see into the hole.

Hi Roxanna, love my mountain mint in my native garden. Great for pollinators, easy to grow, easy to contain, easy to transplant. Stays evergreen in 6b PA. I think it’s slender mountain mint, but lost the tag. Yes, tags are needed.

I agree. Very easy. Came back last year and at was beautiful. Hopefully, it returns again.

I've been avoiding seed starting videos like the plague!😂 I started some lettuces and brassicas today, though! Now I'm feeling so behind.😮 I haven't ordered any cut flower seeds, ANY seeds actually. But I thought I would start with whatever I have on hand. I can get my beds prepped and ready while I wait for seed orders to arrive and the seeds to sprout. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

😂 I thought about the cleaning of pots/trays on your last vid. I was going to ask you what brush you use. I have and old glass cleaner brush. Last fall I filled up the wheelbarrow and let them soak and went to town scrubbing. It would be less daunting of a job if done through the season, but things get pretty busy and we tend to push them aside. So you don’t use a humidity dome on blocks? Any problems with gnats or mold? Hmm, a list before going to the garden center 🤔…nah, wouldn’t work😂. It’s like I only needed a few seeds this year-😅that didn’t work either.

Roxana will you need to pot up your soil block seedlings (in 2” pots or other) before you plant them out? Thanks!

Hi Roxanne, I have the same sifter and want that colorful tub you use. However. the link to it doesn't work.

Despite what everyone out there says, in my own personal experience mountain mint will take over an area. It spreads by rhizome and by seed. Be sure to keep an eye on it! I removed it from an ornamental bed and put it in a wilder area where it can roam free.

Noted. We will see how they do here.

My problem with planting bulbs in the fall is squirrels tend to dig them up while looking for walnuts they buried to eat during the winter. I found several bulbs with bites out of them laying in my flowerbed.

Oh no, I know people who add a layer of chicken wire on top for a while to protect them, if your area isn't so big maybe trying something like that would help.
