I am so excited about Enshrouded! I'm really hoping I get selected for the Closed Beta, but even if I don't I'll be playing this game when it comes out! Does it have a first person view? At least to build, cause it seems the character is dead center and is in the way of seeing where the hell im placing.

None that I could find. You can zoom in and out using the ALT key and mouse wheel which does help some.

Hey I am trying to build a castle of sorts (essentially a big box with each tier being 2 wall blocks inward, so each tier is smaller than the one below), but for some reason I keep getting these weird gaps in building (I use snap mode on), and it won't snap perfectly to the walls, especially when placing the roof. Do you know how to get rid of these gaps? I especially notice them in certain corners of my turrets; they look like cracks where sunlight can get in. I've rebuilt the main bit twice now; I'd hate to have to rebuild it a third time.

So some of the building blocks don’t snap together very well. This is what it sounds like. My suggestion is to put a column or wall deco to cover it up

In my opinion the best starterhome/starterbase is to build it in a corner of the claimed area. Have the flame as a townsquare ornament and build shacks and homes around it. So you have a room for storage, and a separate smithy for the smith, kiln and forge. I'm a girly girl gamer so I don't want that smoking device in my private quarters. Lol.

REALLY HOPING we see LANDSCAPING. So many games don't bother to let players plant bushes, trees, etc...outside of a plot. Being able to decorate with landscaping takes a boring build and makes it exceptional, something Valheim currently fails at royally. Really hoping we see curves and diagonals. Everything they've shown is a cube or elongated cube. Really hoping to see some more variety in shapes. Even if it is complicated for us to produce...(like it was in Landmark another voxel game)...it'd be great. The roofs have diagonals but what about walls? Just really hoping given the range of freedom I'm not relegated to just making organic builds with some walls just to pop a door or window in...which is fine it just will limit variety. Can't wait to make my first hobbit hole though. My favorite voxel builds in Landmark were always the mix of organic and constructed hard surface builds. The fact we get unlimited terraforming is HUGE for build variety, just want to see some domes and round walls.

I've just stumbled onto this game and considering buying it but can anyone tell me if you have to do the battles in order to just build, in my case, a tree house. I don't like combat games, not interested in doing any quests to follow the story, just being honest... I just want to be creative and build homes. I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me as I've looked on Google but I'm not getting my questioned answered and I'd like to know before actually buying the game.

Hey there, so unfortunately, this game you will have to follow the quests and story line to unlock the building pieces and all. While its a pretty game, that is the major drawback as I am also a huge fan of just building. I hope this helps!

I am using a rode podmic with the wave xlr. I just played around with more settings in obs and got it sounding much better.@@thequickcodevideoguy
