Just ordered one of these for my kyosho inferno rtr. Hopefully at least a decent upgrade. Will be new to using a starter box as well.

Would this be any better than a dynamite mach 2 .21 for off road buggy use?

This engine has two more ports than the mach 2, but other than that, not really. Both made by SH, very similar output. One advantage, this one has a composite carb. So could be easier to restart in a hot climate.

You gave up too early lol. I did run it and liked it, great power through the band. I did have issues with the stock carb, could have just been the one I got. If you have another good carb to throw on it if you have issues I would recommended it.
