That bike shop/cafe is so cool! Right off the bike trail. Have to try it when I get back there in the area.

Hopefully someday there can be a full century tour ride on the LA trail from Long Beach to Griffith Park and back without having to leave the class 1 trail. If you ever branch out to Sacramento make sure and do a piece on the American River trail from Old Sac to Folsom Lake.

It'll be an exciting day when the entire bikeway is linked together! I've looked into the local trails in Sac. I would love to come check them out one day. Maybe a video will come out of it!

Congratulations on crossin 1.5K subs. Sorry about your bike. Keep safe. I enjoy the SF bay trail. Just like US govt invested in highway infrastructure, we should have one for bike trails, paved and unpaved. Hoping for bike trail nirvana when all these bike trails are interconnected. We can all do cross country biking, camping, cafes stops and biker shopping along the way all year around (a new business model). Happy riding.

Sorry I’ve only just seen this comment. Thank you! Wouldn’t that be amazing a cross country or a cross California trail of sorts?

I live in Riverside and hope that the SART will connect to the lower half soon. I haven't rode from Green River to the beach but would like too one day. Right now I go from the Riverside entrance to San Bernardino and would love additional areas to explore. Sorry to hear about your bike. I think about theft a lot and have a few different locks but ultimately I do not lock my bike up because I never step away from it.

The RCTA is making progress on this! Hopefully it’s just a few years away from realization 🤞 You have to try the ride from green River to the beach! It’s probably my favorite route across southern cal.

Sorry about your bike. Maybe it's worth locking it/chaining it up, even for a few minutes.

Absolutely, it only takes a moment with your back turned for a bike to be stolen. I learned the hard way.

It’s ok! I moved on pretty quick 😌 it’s just more disappointing to see that happen in an area/path that I really enjoy riding.
