I had mine done April 27th 2023 I was so nervous 😅but I’m kinda happy I did it as my foreskin had a tight ring not Phomosis and kept getting BALANTIS and other infections it’s been 1 week it’s so sore and bruised and having erections while sleeping is the worst rather than the operation it’s self 😊

the frenulum area always takes longest to heal. my urologist said because it rests against your scrotum, that area is moist while the rest of the incision is exposed and dries out sooner. it will take about a year for the incision to heal underneath, although the outside of your penis will look good. did you get a high cut; most adult circumcisions tend to be low, because my urologist said the inner skin tends to swell excessively and high cuts take longer to heal. anyway, hope you are well satisfied!

I am at day 22 post op the gland is less sensitive but sometimes when I do a sudden movement I feel like a small pain not that hard and the doctor said no masturbation or sex before 4 to 6 weeks. The tip of the glande is dry AF and it is like new skin is forming on top of it

I also had mine done at 19, and I'm definitely glad I did. Here's my story: For the last 9 years, I've struggled with an excessive dribble after going to the toilet. How I mainly "put a band-aid" on the problem, was by having a shower after every time I went to the toilet. This was clearly bad for my skin, caused a lot of stress, and affected my day-to-day. I also tried multiple medications like Tamsulosin to see if it would stop it. My urologist identified this problem as from tight foreskin (phimosis) and excessive foreskin, and recommended that I get circumcision. I had it done, 4 weeks later. I'm feeling better than before. I can go to the toilet without needing to shower, and that extra amount of stress has just faded. So I'd say yes, I'm very happy, and glad I did it.

This video was very helpful. I am 3 months exact today. I was a bit worried as sex is very painful and not very pleasurable. The doctor said 4-6 weeks for sex but far out... That was not true at all. My frenulum was so sore and the head is still very sensitive. How long until you were completely back to normal, sex was comfortable, no discomfort/extreme sensitivity of the head etc? Glad things are healing up. I have 3 friends who were also circumcised as adults, all for non-medical reasons. All 3 deeply regret having it done since the feeling and sensitivity are not as intense or the same. Over time you'll adjust and retrain yourself to experience pleasure differently. Millions of men are circumcised and there is still a lot of fucking going on, LOL. In your case it sounded like it was a good choice due to tearing of the frenulum which can be excruciatingly painful and recurring infections of the head. I believe as an adult you're free to get circumcised for whatever reason you choose but it is wrong to do it to a helpless infant who doesn't have the ability to say no. My wife and I didn't circumcise our boys and none of had had any issues. I saw a female urologist which I promptly fired after the second appointment because she was so unprofessional and she made my skin crawl. I have had various female doctors in the past and have found all of them to be unprofessional and disrespectful so I refuse to see a female doctor now. I can deal with a male doctor's ego better then I can from a female doctor's disrespect. I have heard this as well from several of my friends. My wife also can't stand female doctors and she is in the medical field.

T C it’s definitely a lot more sensitive now. Definitely not as sensitive as it was before I had the procedure, I’d say at the most it is 15% less sensitive now compared to when I wasn’t circumcised.

I always wonder why the disconnect the connection on the frenum. I can understand that in extreme situations when a guy who suffers from phimosis and can’t be helped through stretching routines wound need it but the connection of the frenum runs all the way through the scrotum and perinium up to the anus which allows for a guy to have full body organs. This is the most major reason for the controversy when performed even when it’s done for medical purposes. Is this step necessary?

I'm giving birth to a son on Sunday. This is very interesting to me. I didn't realize the difference in how it is done, or the involvement of the frenum. My husband was born in a Jewish hospital and circumcised, but we both agree that it's not a decision we want to make for our son. We also discussed the major aspect of pleasure and sensation. To me, (having only been with men who are circumcised) I believe that the super rough, jack-hammering thrusting is a byproduct of circumcision. As I'm seeing here in the comments, it looks like a lot of men who have been cut as adults do state that the sensitivity is affected and something that must be 'gotten used to'. This makes me so sad. But I'm glad to know about the connection with the frenum. If my son ever wants to have a circumcision done, I will be able to give him all of the information necessary to make his decision!

Hello there, I'm really debating whether or not to get a Partial Circumcision and see if it's possible to just have the ring tip part of my foreskin removed, along with my Frenulum because mine is too short and tight. There was a time when I was a lot younger I was able to barely retract my extremely tight foreskin only past the head due to my shaft's girth and then it was a nightmare trying to yank it out from behind the head and push it back in place. I happen to know what it also means to be deal with having Balanitis, mine seems to strike time and time again due to not only have severe Phimosis and not being able to clean appropriately and also my system creates too much yeast seeing I'm a type 2 Diabetic. Other than your hygiene at the time and having Balanitis, would you also happen to be living with type 2 Diabetes? Btw... I had mine done 5 days ago for the same reason. The glans sensitivity is getting a little better. The erections at night are more uncomfortable than painful. My main issue now is the stitches poking me when I wear a boxer. I’m going to try to wrap it with some gauze.
