There's a priest who refuses to leave his people, despite the church being less than 15 miles from the front lines. He called the actions of the invaders "evil" and "evil must be vanquished". Finally someone in the government said Ukraine must successfully fight and live in peace. "Win" hasn't been used before now. The Ukranian people ARE very religious, the Jewish faith is strong, the Muslim faith is strong, and the majority of people are in their church, synagogue, mosque, wherever they can gather often daily, certainly weekly. There's propaganda saying the Christian church was being targeted by the Ukrainians. That's just a lie. What the Orthodox Church of Ukraine did was to remove members of the KGB cloaked in religious garb. Who wants snitches or gossip coming from the confessional?

When Crimea was taken in 2014 Obama/Biden did nothing. It was when Trump came in in 2016 that Ukraine started getting lethal weapons from the US. QUESTION...related to finance tarriffs specifically. Do tarriffs create money for federal govt to spend in their budget? From what I have read $80 B (2%) was generated from tarriffs, would the suggested tarriffs give Trump et al more money to spend while being funded by the consumer? Everyone it talking about how it will cost us more out of pocket but what happens to the tarriff money collected? It seems the govt gets the money with no rules about how it is spent.

Only one party has over 100 times the felony Indictment of all the other parties combined since Nixon, but call themselves the "Party of Law & Order". The Party that calls itself the "Party of Family Values" has over 1,350+ of its political members (50 times of all other parties combined) indicted for Child abuse & pedophilia since 2001. Its candidate has had 3 marriages and cheated in everyone one of them. Its "Minister of Family Values" is in court being sued for child support by his mistress. Yeah, "both sides" isn't cutting it.

I wonder if Putin's response (if he makes any sort of statement, that is) will be something along the lines of Christmas being 12 days after it is recognized here in the west. I don't recall if Russia maintains January 6th/Epiphany as the true date of Christmas or not. I do know that Ukraine used to consider that the date to celebrate Christmas but eventually chose to adopt the Dec. 25th date of celebration, in part as a way to show its autonomy from the USSR/Russia. Just an example of the quirky things one can learn in the process of genealogy research.

Only in the minds of Christians and Jewish people is the end of December a sacred season. As it turns out Hanukkah began on Christmas day this year, but there are less Jewish people than Christians in the world, so a country that doesn't consider itself Christian has no reason to hold back because the country they are attacking is primarily a Christian nation. But OF COURSE most people rationalize the US as being a Christian nation so the outgoing and incoming Presidents want to criticize Russia. And neither of these two men have anything negative to say about the genocide of any people by another, which is wrong at any time of year.

Hi, I don't know where to send a question and doubt you will see this, but here goes 1 - can you talk about "chocolate" becoming an endangered species, due to climate change? I want to know if it's 100% climate change, or if there are other factors (I'm not a fan of chocolate **hides** but wondering if people will pay more attention now that their candy is endangered) 2 - ...which leads me to my next question. How can I get unbiased information about a science or political topic? I want 100% facts, with no agenda, bias, fear mongering for clicks, etc. Any time I try to look up information on a topic, what ever websites I find tend to have an agenda, for better or worse, and lots of conflicting info (and of course, the simplicity of finding info really depends on the topic you're searching for) Thank you so much. I love your channel. I subscribed for Baue but stayed for Belle 😊 love the no nonsense, short yet informative videos. Keep it up!
