I AVOIDED THIS TOPIC FOR THE LONGEST! The truth is I didn't feel like I had much to say on it because I always thought I was HORRIBLE at dating. however, this pushed me to pray and study the truth on dating as a Christian and in this video I talk about something that recently was revealed to me and has completely changed my life.

Thanking you for listening to God and taking action. This really touched my heart. I’m 16 and I have been struggling with wanting a personal relationship with someone. When I was 13 I went into a relationship without boundaries or guidance from God. Ever since then I have been hesitant to be in a relationship because it hurt me so badly. I think a lot of the time especially for girls we always put this pressure around trying to be the proverbs 31 woman without realizing that no matter what we do everything is in Gods hands we can try so hard to be disciplined and be the wisest person on earth but if God says we aren’t ready for a relationship it’s not gonna happen!! This video was so intense and as much as I usually don't comment on KZbin videos, I feel like I should really drop a few lines under this one. I'll start with the fact that my fiancée and I split last month. And since then, God made my life turn upside down. Modern dating is done so wrong and there are a lot of people that proclaim wrong values. What does that have to do with my relationship? I realized that I was also doing that wrong. I thought that if I loved my girlfriend like crazy, to the limits, it was something God liked. I would literally put her first before God even though I always stated that God was the most important in my life. I would break each of my rules for her, pretend I'm someone that I was not, get out of my comfort zone only to make her happy and to what end? I put my trust in the wrong person, after 6 years of going steady she said I wasn't outgoing enough for her (she was into partying a lot and I'm not really) and simply left me. Throughout those 6 years I used to neglect God so much for her, she was before anyone, if there was anything I thought I could be sure of, it was my relationship with her, we weren't just a boyfriend and girlfriend, we were best friends to each other, support in rough times, I trusted her more than my own family... But apparently it wasn't reciprocated. And what did God do? After she ended it, He, the Merciful Father, accepted me again. He changed me, made me pray more, erased my pain, made me enroll in a Bible course and I never felt so happy before. So, my advice to anyone in a similar situation, don't rush, place your trust in God, there's nothing you can be sure of on Earth, and there's definitely nothing worth sinning for. Let God always come first and He'll sort everything out for you. God is the answer to everything, He's the way. Just trust Him and everything will be all right. A year ago (or maybe more) I started to develop a desire to be in a relationship, but I knew it wouldn't go well at all And although now I focusing on other stuff (like artistic hobbies to glorify God, or my future career) I still want to make sure I keep my mind sharp. I've been in a messy situation with a boy for 8 months now. His parents have made it impossible for us to get to know each other better and actually date even tho my parents are all for it. The whole story of how I met this boy and gotten to know him is all God. I've had struggles with dating and I surrendered this to God. Then months later God gave me him. He's truly a great guy and I believe he's from God. Ive been so so confused over the past 8 months and have been praying to God for guideness and discerment. Ive been so confused on what's ok and what's not and what is honoring to God. In my opinion, girlfriends and boyfriends before marriage should just hold hands with no touching of private parts, hug and kiss and no involvement of any kind of sex. Prohibiting kiss while still dating is too much but it should be done with moderation and self control to avoid tension that will lead to sexual activity, sex should only be done after marriage. Kissing can be an expression of genuine care, respect and love without lustful intention. The words "You may now kiss your bride" means you can now kiss her as your bride (because obviously you're in the middle of a wedding ceremony), it does not say "you may now kiss your girlfriend". I bet you bro Paul Bernard ll that you cannot resist and wait too long for years just to finally kiss your girlfriend for the first time during the wedding. I mean it's great if you or anyone can do it, but we mostly can't, we're not perfect, prohibiting kiss in dating is very legalistic and hypocritical. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is perfect that became a human being in this world.

I understand your point brother Paul, it's a struggle for us believers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ because a simple kiss could lead into premarital sex, fornication, adultery or every sexual immorality, but kissing with self control, it can be prevented. But if anyone is really determined to preserve even his/her first kiss, he/she should marry as soon as possible because dating for years is very hard to abstain because there will be many temptations and challenges that is very hard to bear

Yes! I fully agree. Outright prohibiting kissing is quite a thing to do lol. Kissing is not a sin in itself and everyone is different. As I do in all my videos I try my best to speak from what I'm learning and what God is teaching me. To put it plainly I've fully indulged in sexual sins in my life before and now because of that, I have to go through a deep cleaning and be COMPLETELY pure in order to restore my intimacy with Christ. I wish I had not put myself in this situation, but that's the reality of where I'm at. And there may be others who need to do what I'm doing right now as well. But thank you for using your Godly discernment to clarify my point. This is what we all need to be doing. We shouldn't just take people's word as is. I appreciate you communicating this perspective. Kissing is not a sin and when done with self control can be just expression. However, when done without self control (as I'm sure many of us are guilty of, especially me) it can lead to sin and open doors that are very hard to close.

@@Paulbernard11 Amen brother, just like you, I'm also trying to work on my obedience to Christ, especially that "deny your self" phrase in the Bible is very hard to maintain daily consecutively but is fulfilling and worth it when you overcome it daily. I'm really excited to be with the Lord Jesus Christ, to have a glorified or glorious body just like Him in the rapture, which I believe to happen before the tribulation. And I'm hoping this trouble in middle east especially with Israel and it's neighbor is leading up to it. As long as you are growing in Christ brother. God should ALWAYS be first and no woman should be a hindrance to that. I would advise to take sometime to analyze your life and pray to God to reveal anything to you that’s holding you back in your relationship with Him rn. Might be lust, disobedience, idolatry, addiction. I believe those things need to be handled before you commit to a relationship. It’s not healthy to bring that into dating. But understand that you’ll never be perfect and until you’re ready there is nothing wrong with being friends and spending quality time together. What are your thoughts?

When you have went through fiery trials and submitted to God and have resisted the enemy.
