As long as this video is i wanted it to be longerrr, I think it's because of our culture why dating more than one person's at the time seems so wrong because most people see dating as sleeping with each other when dating is just getting to know each other

Love this video and love you guys, but as a someone who is not 7th Day Adventist but a committed Christian, I agree with Zhara and think it's somewhat a waste of time to date someone who's of a denomination that practices a drastically different lifestyle from my denomination if I know I don't intend to marry someone of a different denomination, because it could be a case where you find yourself falling in love with that person but the two of you can't see eye to eye on certain lifestyle issues. That will cause a lot of pain and it's important to guard your hard and that other person's heart as well. You don't want to lead each other on to a point where you're in love but can't be together. You could be friends with people from different denominations and there's no problem with that as long they are good godly friendships but I think it shouldn't get to a dating stage. When people date there is an expectation that maaayyyybeee or maybe not it may lead to more. That's just gonna be messy. This my MY OPINION. I agree with you totally. I'm not 7th day Adventist either but I was seriously dating one and it became a huge issue that caused us to just drift so far apart. We just had different ideologies about stances of Christianity. I fully agree with dating someone who may share the same denomination.

Excellent discussion and content, XyZ! Such discussions are crucial in the Christian community, and specifically our SDA community; you guys nailed it with all the points you made. Zaundre, thank you for speaking directly to the males. So often they trifle with ladies' hearts, and, honestly, I think they often don't know any better because of their socialization and cultural perspectives on what it means to be a man, overlooking what it means to be a CHRISTIAN man. A lot of our men need mentoring from Christian men, like yourself, who are striving to continually grow in Christ and are balanced. On the point of dating someone who is of a different faith, consider that people also pretend to get what they want; however, if one is praying earnestly at every stage on the journey to marriage, God will give wisdom and discernment. The issue is we often overlook the red flags because usually emotions overrule biblical knowledge and/or counsel. Thank you both for all the time you invest and the sacrifice you make in sharing and creating these videos. We appreciate what you are doing for the cause of Christ. 🙏🏾🤗💜

I love this series! Pertaining to the conversation, I’m with Zhara. I feel like you get to a point in your walk where you actually need someone who is in one accord and you just can’t bother to feel out someone who loves God but may not be in one accord, start like them off then struggle to end it when you realize you’re really Peter and Paul and don’t agree on many things but both love God fiercely. In short, it saves you time and feelings.

A lot of times singles pass on a good person for arguably, frivolous reasons. Sometimes you have to look past getting the perfect man or woman and consider those with possibilties for growth. You both presented very interesting perspectives. I didn't date as a single, but I had male friends who I didn't go out on dates with. We just got to know each other and some of them even knew each other. There were no hard feelings. Most of them got married before me and I became friends with their wives too. I later courted the person I married and God brought us together. For believers, God should be the centre of our decision-making. Although I married someone from my denomination, I was open to marrying someone from another destination if our belief system aligns.

I agree with Zhara, I don't believe in missionary dating. If you are seeking to lead the person to Christ then do that. I think missionary dating adds alot of blurred lines, and we may subconsciously lead others to us than God. Sometimes as well it puts pressure on the non-believer to 'change' to please the believer and he/she has a relationship with God only through the believer.

Xaundre: You really thought that this guy who gets up everyday and talks about the blood of Jesus covering him would be interested in a young lady who has no interest at all in spiritual things...This is so relatable and it goes both ways. I am still explaining this to unsaved men. I cannot overemphasize spiritual compatibility and how important this is for christians and is a non-negotiable and better yet it is not the will of God...Missionary dating is a no for me..No No No...wisdom is the principal thing.
