Yessss. Finally someone that agrees Tristan was a total dick. He treated Maya horribly, for no good reason at all. He's always seemed like the type to use anyone he can to get what he wants. Your video was one of my favorites to listen to, very detailed and your voice is so soothing.

The fact that Drew started dating Becky (Adam’s gf) right after Adam died… then they broke up, he had sex with Claire, then he wanted to back together with Becky but he doesn’t tell Becky that Claire is pregnant!?!

The jane SA storyline was really powerful and really made me gravitate towards her character. I didn't like jane and spinner's relationship storyline

I always hated the emma and peter storyline because why are you dating someone who took advantage of your friend while she was drunk I also feel like everyone casually glosses over the fact that bianca was violently transphobic towards adam and the apology was not giving at all. Drew was a pretty trash character and a womanizer. Eli and Clare's relationship was really toxic but it got better over time. I hated how degrassi treated it's black and poc character's especially because the actress that played hazel aden talked about how they promised her more screen time and better storylines and never followed through. I just feel like the black character's in the show didn't get good story lines or had good character development

IIRC she wasn’t born in Canada, but doing the math I’m guessing she would have been little enough that Canada is what she knows.. THAT ALSO would make for good representation

This whole video is straight up facts tbh. Eclare was toxic as hell and is so overrated, I've seen people talk about how it's couple goals like excuse me?? clown shit 😭 I also feel like the writers could've found a different way to deal with Hunter's ODD rather than just making him an ignorant incel with anger issues. As someone with ODD, it's great that they actually portrayed it and included it, but a less toxic way could've been way better 💀💀 It's a shame they ended next class how they did, it would've been nice to see some more character development from him rather than just leaving it at him being a total dick to Yael over their gender identity.

Yes, even poor white people have/benefit from white privilege. Granted, Peter had more privileges over Sean with being a rich white male, but Sean was still a white male. White privilege doesn’t mean your don’t have struggles and isn’t effected by other oppressing factors (i.e. white women, having white privilege but still facing sexism) and then race and class are two different things

I really didn’t care for the Emma and Spinner situation, but after twisting and racking my brain enough, it kiiinnnddaa makes sense. They both been through some traumatic stuff and really value simple things. They both knew each other so they’re comfortable- and don’t like change. So maybe?? I don’t know. It should have been Spemma. 😩

Yes and no. Danny, Peter (yes Peter), Sav, Shaun, Craig, Jimmy, Spinner, Wesley, JT, Toby, Campbell, Dallas, Mo, Jake, Eli (he had his moments), Dave. They were all fine

@@TOSH-vi6dr Spinner was homophobic for a long time but he treated the girl okay. Peter was a piece of shit all the way around though.Dave could be sexist at times and also faithfulness challenged. Craig treated women all right? Puhleasse. He was always stringing two of them along. Dallas was a sexist pig at first but he eventually changed.

I personally hated Sean- like everybody will come for me when I say that but he was just very- no just no I just didn’t like him and I felt like Emma was to hold for him but that’s just my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can def understand your feelings, there were moments that I really enjoyed Sean then other moments where I honestly couldn’t care any less about him 😭
