England.i have to set up a 300 gallon reef tank. I do watch you on here as much as I can. I'm always use basic sump with a UV steriliser,but how often would I have to run it all the time.but I'm sure you don't use it. I'm trying to run the tank as low power as I can. Keep it up on here as you are very clued up.Thank you. Bodie

My filtration system is the rocks in my DT, the algae in my refugium, no sandbed, some carbon, and a filter roller. I hand turn about 8 inches of roll every 3-4 days. No protein skimmer or bio media, thats my filtration system, no3 and po4 is within my tanks happy range. I have a 450L mixed reef and grow LPS and SPS, including accropora. I've been reefing for 30 years. This is my 7th tank and is 13 months old. Oh, I did inoculate with PNS bacteria.
