1:34:55 Just something I thought was interesting about the info (or lack thereof) that Crystal is allowed privy to… Lio (and by extension Senate/Cats Lair members) obviously watch these streams (Enlaa’s, Kumo’s, Akumu’s, Beckett’s, Leigha’s, etc). People who openly speak out against him or have opposing opinions as him are “The enemy”. So, when Lio and Senate/Lair members/mods see Crystal going on these streams to converse with “the enemy”, they deem Crystal as a possible liability or just generally untrustworthy, so they keep them at arms length by only allowing them very small amounts of info. So, that brings me into my (to use the Senate/Lair vernacular): “tinfoil hat theory”: Lio, and the Senate/Lair members and mods share as little info as possible with Crystal for the reason that they don’t want them sharing said info with “the enemy”. Because they (Lio) wants to continue doing these sorts of calls and abusing and manipulating victims in this way. Because Lio doesn’t want to be “embarrassed” (as he shared with Eren when he server muted Lio) by being called out, similar to how Ponder stepped in and put their foot down. Lio wants to continue getting away with these sorts of things, so he makes sure to know who to share certain info with, and Crystal isn’t the person he wants to allow knowing certain things. Hence the reason why Crystal wasn’t privy to the knowledge that the Rin call was initially meant to be one on one. Lio knew exactly what he was doing and he wanted to get away with it. He learned from the mistakes in the past (those mistakes being that others did or said certain things that would prevent him from continuing to be abusive to others). After all, if you get caught, scolded, and disciplined when you try to steal a cookie from the cookie jar… you’re going to be more crafty and sneaky in order to get away with it the next time you try. So, in order to accomplish this, he makes sure to only grant knowledge to the people he knows will let him do these things. And Crystal isn’t one of those people, because they converse with “the enemy”. But, again, that’s just my “tinfoil hat theory.” The Devil’s Advocate side says that Crystal is acting as a buddy-troll to Enlaa, Leigha, Beckett, and co.

listening back to this it's really telling that lio doesn't understand that the belittling, condescending way he talks to people is also abusive. it's like he's verbally trying to get in your face and growl at you, and it just makes him sound like an aggressive asshole whose words need to be sneered to have any confidence behind them.

I actually enjoyed some of his earlier stuff before the Senate, and him becoming a narcissistic authoritarian. But I'm also a huge nerd. That being said, I hope he stops before it's too late, and he can recover some semblance of what his channel once was. I honestly wish the best for all parties involved, even Lio.

I'm Goat's #1 fan but I'm unsure why chat is claiming goat was involved in this in *any* way or saying 'Goat W'. Goat had 0 involvement. The EXTENT of Goat's involvement here is listening in to maybe 5 minutes of the call total- they don't know the context, she wasn't in the call, she didn't organise the call, he just happens to be friends with people who were. The only people with involvement in this call are Lio's mods, Lio, Rin, Jun, me and Neurofunk. I was not in Rin's server. I was not a mod of *either* server. The call happened in Lio's, unsure why it's being claimed otherwise in chat. Nobody pulled Rin out of call. Me and Neurofunk organised this call with Lio- if anyone has questions I'd be very thankful if they came to US, not to randoms who claim they know us. Thank you

i agree with most of what's said in this, but one sticking point - as a transmasc, misgendering is both a respect issue and a transphobia issue. accidental misgendering is one thing, but intentional misgendering is always both an act of transphobia and disrespect. it is disrespectful to all trans people to say 'the validity of your identity is based on if i like you'. but that doesnt mean it's unlawful or that all people who do it are Bad Evil People you Can't Hang Out With. plenty of LGBT+ people hang out with folks who have bigoted tendencies, probably partially because we recognize that most people have at least some prejudice against LGBT+ identities and we're used to deciding who is or isn't cool in spite of it lol.

do i wish some of the people in these streams wouldn't misgender? sure. i think it's a dumb, bad thing to do and it weakens their arguments for no other reason than petty, ineffective spite. it's just kind of a dick move that reflects poorly on the person doing it imo. but that doesn't mean everything they say is wrong or they're inherently bad people. they've just decided alienating some trans people by disrespecting them is fine, and that's their choice.

Only nitpick about that argument is, if this truly is all about respect, what exactly did Keffals do that was worthy of respect? Or Jessica Yaniv who wanted girls in the restroom to demonstrate how to insert a tampon or throw a party for minors (and even advised those invites to not bring parents)? It's the type of broad brushing with no hint of nuance that let's trans people who are horrible make the trans folk who are genuinely wholesome look horrible. Initially I will try to "observe" the identity by using correct pronouns. I feel like people deserve the bare minimum "observance". Respect comes with time and the observance, at least my own, can easily be forfeited once that one individual (not the entire population who share that identity) does enough stuff that's disrespectful and crosses my line. I'm not going to " punish" Mercury Stardust because Keffals grifted 100k from fans on a drug bender (allegedly in Minecraft). But hey, I'm speaking as someone who's had their good will burned down over a decade ago. I'm so jaded about how " bad it can be" that it's almost an expectation at this point 😒
