"I've been dead for 35 years. Today is the day I live." has to be one of the hardest lines in all of fiction

But if you think about it it's weird, because that means he didn't feel a thing raising Buddy???
@Bushmannerino Жыл бұрын
@@T1Slam what he felt was a need to make up for his mistakes, which isnt the same as living and giving it your all

@@Bushmannerino usually raising a child makes characters forget and let go of their inner conflicts. I think it's weird that not a single day of peaceful life with Buddy Brad considered a day "lived". Personally, I LOVE the phrase and the scene itself, but I believe it's just the case when developer overlooked something.

@@T1Slam i'm sorry but.. do you mean in fiction? because in real life it's never like this.
@T1Slam Жыл бұрын
Of course real life is different. I used the term character, so it's about fictional narrative rules, but still with a hint of real life common sense.

One thing i have to admire about lisa is that they know their game through and through, slight little dialogue changes and such depending on what order you do things in. My personal favorite that many people surprisingly don't know is that when you visit Tooley after you complete the list on joyful he'd already have hanged himself.

Man, I had your Saya no Uta video on my recommended and that already had me hooked into your channel, and now you're reviewing one of my favourite games! I look forward to your future content and I'll be sure to dig deep into your backlog (Those KTP/Suda51 videos in particular)

its always so funny to me, that none of these reviewers or retrospectives, mention the guy past your house at the very beginning. who says something along the lines of "this place .. is perfect for it".

Also, game suggestion, Fear & Hunger is really punishing and lore heavy with multiple outcomes.

Bro I have been waiting for someone to do a massive video on these games. It needs more discussion and there’s very little on here. Thank you

The moment I subscribe and start going through your back catalog you release this banger I really like how your editing style has evolved over time, and all the little visual touches are honestly fantastic. I also really appreciate you covering the history of the titles you review, since it really helps give context to each game in ways I wasn't aware (legitimately your analysis for Saya completely changed my understanding/opinion on it). Thanks for the hard work boss, it really shows through

Honestly if you want to play painful again I recommend desolate expanse, it adds a bunch of new stuff and makes the game much more brutal.

I think status effect skills was quite useful on 4 Apocalypse and 5. Especially with Apocalypse with the charm skill to instantly recruit female demons.

I actually did not know that.

@LetsTalkAboutGames Also quite useful on hordes when they attack themselves giving you more chances to remain unscathed.

I now recall some bosses in Nocturne is weak to ailments, Soul Hackers 2 if you count as a SMT game had a thing with ailment being a weakness/element called Ruin and I know that in Digital Devil Saga 2 some ailment spells does both a status effect and damage.

Outta curiosity, would you ever consider returning to this franchise to cover the Definitive Edition content or the Fangames (Hopeful and Pointless got covered by Worm Girl, but theres a new fangame on the block called The Undone that seems to be a response to the contested nature of Buddy as a character)?
@LetsTalkAboutGames5 ай бұрын
I think it would be neat to look over what was added into the game with the Definitive Edition, but I don't know if I'll make that a full video or not. On the topic of the Fangames, I kinda view them like the Danganronpa fan games where while I think it is cool that people have made their own titles and made them as intricate as they are, I don't have an interest in playing them.
