I cherish Air2Grounds storefront. I can walk there from my office and I love it. It makes me feel good about trusting my meat source.

What a bummer on your hunt. I hunt as well, so I get your disappointment in missing the last day. So glad the cattle are safe! Also want to thank you guys for your content- I use a lot of your ideas in my homestead. The ground cloth has been a life saver! We also just purchased a freeze drier! So a huge thank you for making my homesteading life easier!

Hi there! I have told you previously that my Dad installed a HUGE wood stove that was a furnace for our whole house. But it was installed in the basement and it was VERY VERY VERY HOT DOWN THERE. SO WE CALLED IT HELL!

Despite the best fences, cows are destined to be loose at some point. That being said, they seem to get out when my hubby isn’t home😂.

Hoping your cows don’t get out again. Did you find where they got out from? Hopefully get the other fences fixed soon before it snows if you get snow. Have a great week and 50 is no big deal. Wait til you get beyond 70. Just like any other day. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐

God Bless your happy homestead. And please remember that in your hour of need, like when the whole family is sick, that is the time to call on your friends and neighbors for help. They are probably just waiting for the chance to lend a helping hand and receive a future favor in return.

If you Stir Fry venison in a Wok with fresh veggies, it is the Very Best way to enjoy Have used my venison like this for 50 years ~ Everyone always asked me to bring it along with me Try it, not a “game’y” taste at all. Kids Love it too !

K & S-Hey There. My times with cooking deer meat. I always soak the meat in milk for a large part of day. For me-it helps take the wild taste out of the meat. Especially the bucks killed in rut. When cooking tame goats-you know what you been feeding them. It is like beef you raise. The difference in goat & deer-one is tame & the other is wild. You have a wonderful day. I love you. The calcium test is amazingly NOT covered by insurance, but is worth the cost in my opinion. It is a good indicator of artery health.

So Cal venison is terrible. They eat sage brush. My dad would go up to Northern Cal or Oregon, and it was delish. Then elk from Wyoming also delish. Grew up on a FARM in the 60s. Homesteading sounds so fancy.

Good thing you was out there to catch your cows, but that's part of owning livestock unfortunately those silly cows think the grass is greener on the other side always. Fencing should always be top of the list. I grew up on a homestead and it was some of my best memories, good food back then because we didn't have super stores back then. We use a heated dog bowl from tractor supply for our chickens. Hunting your own land is free for like squirrel and rabbit but with deer you need a deer tag if you don't own 50 plus acres, 50 plus acres apply for the landowner free tags, bleeding the deer and processing it fast is a huge key, I think the deer that eat a lot of acorns are the best they are just better. I soak the meat in vinegar and salt water before I slice it up because it helps remove a lot of that gamey blood.

That’s why you didn’t see any more deer, the cows blew them all out of there.
@marthab255Ай бұрын
You better be fixing the fence. You don’t want them on a highway so someone gets killed. Would be bad news.❤❤❤

At least walk the fence before you turn the cows loose on the neighbors when you run out of grass!

I would not worry about LDL if your ratios are good. Many studies were stopped because the people with the lowest LDL died younger. Our brain needs cholesterol our body makes it for a reason - dig into the studies they are fascinating

I understand why you all would be hopeful about certain areas you think will be improved concerning regulatory and food issues. My question is, how are you feeling about the ethical and moral failings of the incoming administration? I’m not giving my opinion on purpose, but I am interested in how the Christian/ Homesteading community is feeling.🫶
@nancycy9039Ай бұрын
I, too, am gravely concerned about the moral and ethical failings of the incoming administration and, of course, the direct and ripple effects of having leaders with no conscience or moral authority (despite lip service to being “Christian”).

I’m so grateful to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob… I am blessed when I read comments like yours., because I’m understanding the scripture that says many are called, but few are chosen…You know when you know…❤ I live in Rural Washington state. I am blessed to have local farmers all around me,the common thread between them all that I am noticing is, they all love Jesus..❤ the land and there animals,even though they are raising them for food… They are treated with love and dignity ❤ Merry Christmas

President Trump has been accused of many things, but nothing has been proven to be true. He has made it clear that he is a Christian and believes in Christian values. I am praying for him and this Country and see no good in doubting his success or being involved in the continuous slandering of an innocent man.

Worried like everyone else in the world I would say, climate change is a real thing, global warming I’d a real thing. We just need to pray and ask the Lord to keep his hands upon us, and purpose is in all things were set our hands too
