I just wish every gynae was like that. My friend had pain and irregular periods and she lived away from home(we were in the first year of college). She told her symptoms to the doctor and the doctor said bas aajkal ki ladkiyon ka yahi hai zara si independence mili nahi ki doctoron ke chakkar lagani lagti hain and started laughing, my friend told her that she's not sexually active and was in extreme pain. To which the doc said mujhe mat banao, pregnancy test karao aur apni mummy ko sath leke aao tab aana. She cried so much and was traumatized by that first visit that she endured that for 2 more days until we convinced her to visit another doctor who was thankfully very supportive. Turned out she had a big ovarian cyst and later got the treatment for it

I thought something is wrong with me only but this podcast helped me alot. Gave me immense peace that am not alone and people do understand this, i was so tired of explaining them what i have been suffering alone. They r the most ignorant ppl. We need to understand that it’s not our lifestyle but our environment that causes pcos. Everything we eat we use contains micro plastics and this microplastics acts as hormone disrupter. There has been a case study done on a few generation of crocodiles when they have been given the factor x which is the micro plastics in this case and it was found that the crocodile became infertile after 5 generations, that’s where our world is heading too. It’s almost impossible to avoid those products

Not only food and exercise, products we use or are exposed to during our lifetime, also contribute to PCOD... Use of plastics, disposable pads, cleaning products not only on ourselves, but also home cleaning products all have been known to be hormone disruptors...

There is one thing with the doctors as well - if you are not ill or facing any difficulty with your body do not visit the doctor. I faced this question twice last year. Once I visited a dentist for regular checkup and then to a gynaecologist with no health issues to discuss.

I think I took the roght decision to plan for my baby at an early age. The stress, the pain, the mental and physical damage is pretty much bearable and manageable in 20s. Im 23 and conceived naturally without any risk and my baby is also born healthy. Im still recovering from the child birth but taking care of a child is a hectic job with additional burden of recovery yourself.
