I do repairs my self as a hobby for now, and I am still learning from people like you. Who ever doesn't like your videos, that's theirs problem. You can't please everyone. This is YOUR channel, you are simply sharing YOUR style/method of repairing laptops, if others can benefit then great, if not then they’ve not lost anything, they didn’t contribute anything so what right do they have to complain, its easy to sit back and be negative and criticise, If anyone doesn’t like your content then simply don’t watch, who’s forcing them? Maybe they should make their own channel and post their own content 3. Brother, you are doing your job uniquely so good and clean, so enjoyable! Full refresh of mind from all other fast repairs .... even me who sometimes do dodgy fast repairs just to take $ for living it's hard time, but it's going to be the better for all of us! 10000% and just at least 1 video per week because your videos are so addictive you purely enjoy those small mini details that no one pays attention you find them and fix them most of the time which is crazy good!

Having a channel you must deal with heaps of "unhealthy" commentators. Remember that here is a lot of trolls too. The PCH one is definitely the ignorant one that doesn't even understand what he is talking about. Also any shaming is in general can be avoided leaving only constructive critic to be reviewed. These are not really negative comments Mike. These are comments from people who desperately want to communicate in some peculiar ways with other people because they feel alone. I agree with you that any criticism is required and allowed but only if it is constructive and fact based. Now let me ask you something regarding this PD controller and your fault finding method. Do you think that by measuring the resistance and/or having very good knowledge of electronics theory is enough to say that this controller is shorted or partially shorted or you also need experience and some kind of intuition ?

Personally, I actually have little to no knowledge of electronic theory and I'm not kidding. But I usually know what I need to know to troubleshoot a circuit successfully. And what I don't know, I research. That works pretty well, since my intuition is usually completely useless as well. :) I actually rely on collecting facts (measurements) in order to draw the most sensible conclusions based on them with the help of my experience. And that works very well. Ohms mode alone has proven to be a very powerful and indispensable tool for me. Kind regards

No profession, no any knowledge (especially theoretical) no any kind of skills can be preserved and improved if you don't practice it and like it. So having many years of experience working with a lot of "educated" engineers I have to admit that few of them really knew a thing about their specialty or profession. I also agree that facts, logical and analytical thinking and measurements along with the collective experience is the best way to get better. As for my self, having abandoned electronics for a "career" in IT I have to start from the beginning in the repair field. My theoretical knowledge is useless and mostly forgotten.
