So I wanted to talk about my nose job/plastic surgery? I was born with a big nose that I inherited from my Russian mother, 4 years ago I hadn't even noticed that my nose is bigger and different than my friends, until 2 years ago that I joined social media and all these beauty standars started bombarding me. In the beginning I didn't even care because I saw myself in a beautiful way and I thought that I was okay just the way I was. However after a while I started feeling ugly and undesirable because my nose is like that. It took me a lot of time and effort but after 1,5 years I have finally accepted the way I look and the fact that everyone is unique in their way!

Calista Renee Exactly!! Just like people change their hair cut or color or contour their face and get braces, eyebrows, tattoos & whatnot. It's the same thing!! It's not changing her personality now! I feel like it already INFLUENCED her personality as she grew up and now that she's mature enough to choose whether to change it, she did! Also THIS HONESTY and REAL-NESS is exactly what made me follow her since berrypinklips. That video(how to be beautiful) where she freakin exposed her nose and "exposed" her not so flat tummy on camera just made me feel SO GOOD about myself and SO connected to her on this whole nothah level. That video AFFECTED/INFLUENCED/CHANGED me and my mindset and everything!!!! I will NEVER unsubscribe after this video. If someone's insecure about their features(example: nose) and they did something to change it, why would they mock/judge someone who _doesn't_ have a nose job/straight nose?? I'd think they would FEEL that person even more and not even think about judging/mocking that person's nose for not being the same as their own. They would understand that not everyone can get a nose job or have a perfect looking nose.

All these people are quick to criticize her parents for allowing a young girl to change her appearance when they don’t understand how much it can impact someone. I used to have a dark spot on my chin and I absolutely hated it, I was so insecure and would wear turtlenecks, had bangs covering my face and do things to hide it. When I was 11 after years of seeing me crying and not doing things I wanted to simply because I didn’t want people to see my face they decided on asking me if I wanted it removed. I of course said yes and can say that it was the best decision EVER I am an extrovert and am now so much more comfortable and confident. That was a decision made as an 11 year old (!!) again I can say it was extremely beneficial for me mentally and I’m glad I did make the decision it made high school a lot more enjoyable personally

I think we shouldn‘t be sad about that. I am also not happy with my nose. But we are who we are and we should bot change this. And even though hailey did it, it should not make us insecure. They are so many girls that are not happy with their face but that‘s because we all see this models and we should also look like this. Hailey looks amazing and there is no reason to be sad. I’ve followed Hailey for years and thought her and Nil were absolutely gorgeous. I always told friends how I wished they’d replace Bella and Gigi as the sister models dominating the media. They had a really unique look you didn’t get bored of, but honestly the nose job makes Hailey look basic. Yea her nose looks “prettier”. But overall I think it takes away from the interesting beauty she had. The kind that made you do a double take or pick her out from a group of pretty girls. This isn’t meant as a hate comment to Hailey but if there’s a girl out there considering a nose job after just know that sometimes being less conventionally attractive but more interesting can be better. I still love Hailey but I doubt I’ll be captivated by her like I used to be. But I also understand her because I’ve wanted a nose job for awhile. I’m just hoping my comment may encourage a girl who feels bad about her nose being different. To me, looking interesting is better than basic even if basic is considered better by society. Having unique qualities is what makes you memorable to people. I hope Hailey is happier now with her new nose though. It doesn’t make her ugly. It’s just different. Sometimes changing something you don’t like about yourself can help bring you more confidence and I hope she’s able to grow more sure of herself through this

hmm yet you probably wouldn't say the same about MY nose, since it's bigger than usual and I have a flat af tip. Being memorable to people could also be in a bad way in my eyes. Tbh I just don't want that kind of attention because of a stupid nose. It's just flesh, cartilage and bones, we're all gonna die at some point anyway better to make the most of our time here. I don't wanna be remembered for my "weird" nose, because I am not my nose. I am so many more things than that. And Hailey is too. Unfortunately society puts a lot of pressure onto people to look a certain way, and if they choose to change it then it's their choice and it can actually make them happy. I would also have to pay for it myself for the same reason and it's really expensive here in Argentina. So it isn't really an option, not a close one in time, and have to deal with it.

this is a bit of a joke. Coming from someone who has had rhinoplasty you don't just love yourself but get a nose job because it's annoying. It is a huge decision that you would think about and it usually comes from quite a big dislike for your existing nose feature. It doesn't come from a place of love it comes from a place of dissatisfaction. Saying you just one day were annoyed and went out on a whim to speak to someone and then got it done. like hun if that is the case I am pretty concerned for you. If you can make a huge decision off being annoyed you're prob gonna end up going to town on your face. Once you fix one thing you'll find more things that "annoy" you. it's okay if you don't love everything about yourself just go be straight up and say it don't tone it down the way you just have. you're only human.

Now her nose beautifully fits the beauty standards but to me she was so much prettier before bc her nose was a little bit longer and it suited her face so freaking much. I‘m in tears right now… i‘m having the same problem like you HAD. My nose is way bigger than it should be and i‘m really insecure about it. You kinda teached me to accept my nose. Okay so my nose looks very similar to your after nose and I've actually been insecure about my nose for so long. I've always wanted to have a Greek/middle eastern long nose and hated my small nose. We used to have similar noses. My iPhone even recognizes us as the same person in my camera roll because I guess we look kind of similar. I used to hate my nose but as I've gotten older I've grown to love it. Personally, I liked your nose better before, but maybe that's because I'm a little bias (lol). My parents have both a pretty big nose and so do I. not only that but I also have a small face so it appears even bigger. and LET ME TELL YOU. I'm 17 now and I've been thinking about getting my nose done FOR YEAAARS, probably since I was 12/13. It has always been a huge insecurity of mine. Honestly, it's limiting me in so many ways and I'm not even being dramatic: I BARELY take selfies just because of my nose. I can get ready, feel myself, then I look in the mirror and I absolutely hate how I look. My nose just changes the appearance of my face and I really really want it done. I HATE pictures more than anything. You know how your friends sometimes take pictures of you and I have the urge to cry everytime I see myself on these. And I swear to God I am not being dramatic. It is truly somrthing I think about everyday. But each day i'm telling myself "hold on until you're 18" cause that's when I'm gonna be allowed to have plastic surgery. My parents do not support me on this at all and it's hurting me so bad to know that they're not even taking it seriously. I have no idea how i'm gonna do it financially but I'm gonna do it and I'm looking forward do it. Wish me luck♥️

hey girl... I know EXACTLY you how you felt, I was the same growing up... hated myself, never wanted photos and if anything was side on I would cry. I never wanted to talk to boys because I felt disgusting. I can't imagine the struggles you would go through with social media so prevalent. Definitely do it, I can't tell you how much my self confidence has improved... it's just one less thing I worry about. Get a part time job and save up, also a tip I told my doc I had trouble breathing.. I didn't really tbh but he then suggested I had a deviated septum.. and guess what that reduced the cost dramatically due to private health insurance (not sure if your country offers that). but yeh def know theres a good feeling and it really does improve your self esteem. but do be warned that whilst you hate your nose... if you fix it you might get a bit obsessed with perfection and find more flaws so make sure you see beauty in your natural looks :)
