Basically it was confirmed by Selena that Ashley Cook, one of her friends, designed the original album cover which explains why it looked very amateur and simple. Also, Selena has taken a huge confidence hit lately, and often looks for reassurance within her friends, so she always plays songs for her friends and whichever ones that they like get included, and the ones they don’t get axed. Not only that, they also provide ways for her to improve her songs despite the fact that have no experience in the music industry and also have no background in music. Also, just search “Selena Gomez friends” on KZbin and it’ll show you a bunch of videos people have put together exposing how toxic her friends are. I hope that helps lol.

the story about feel me; she actually first introduced in revival! she played it during tour and never actually released as a studio song, and a lot of people were very desperate for the version that some point during tour the studio version was leaked. of course it was later deleted but by then many fans had already downloaded the song to listen to. she then continued to produce droplets (as you called them) and one of them was stained, another song that was never officially released but leaked (and honestly if you've heard this you know she's a bop and a half i love her). i think for rare she wanted to release feel me over stained because more people were aware/anticipating the former than the latter. :)
