I think the new coin you're proposing would also fit the character very well. She's supposed to be a sharpshooter with insane skill and aim. The idea of the coin was that she's so skillful that she can shoot a coin in the air at the right angle to bounce the bullet to the target, but the current coin feels more like a turret that you need to activate by shooting, and heads or tails makes it even worse by somehow cloning the bullet. I think in this scenario it would also be great if the coin always targeted the last enemy Saati shot, and if thats not available the lowest health enemy. It would give the player more control over the character.

Recharging pips should be in her cards. IDK how they overlooked that. EDIT; Another one: She gains movement speed when not at full pips, and perhaps a card could increase that movement speed bonus by 5% | 5? Her M1 fires faster at max pips, that would probably be too OP to buff through cards unless it was like 1% | 1 at max, which would make it a bad card imo.

I'd really love to see each invisibility skill have it's own detection range. Or at least each character. There's no balancing stealth when Strix's no cool down resource and Skye's long cooldown ability have the same radius. Each stealth ability on each champ has a drastically different purpose. They should be balanced according to that.

I have a level 100 Saati and I’ve been crying for recharging pips through cards, having cards that change the functionality of abilities similar to jolt on BK, or adding values of new effects to abilities like nando’s charge knockback cards. Another card I NEED is ammo regen when throwing the coin, you don’t know how many times I’ve accidentally thrown the coin with no ammo and then I have to just watch my coin fall and I can’t do ANYTHING about it. (It helps you not waste pips) Update: I also feel like making the single shot coin more like 800dmg and 2 pips but adding recharge cards would be better (it’s an opinion don’t shoot me)

Instead of reducing the pips it could cost more pips, like 4 pips so that you only get 1200dmg/2 coins at 600dmg/coin. Then you have to wait for it to regen and forced to get into battle to finish the enemy. (less changes to the Saati we know). This will also force a Saati player to carefully consider usage of the pips. (Whatever balances the dmg output per coin because at 800dmg wouldl kill some players but 2 coins makes it more dynamic)

I enjoy playing Satti because of the trick shot and you have to consider positioning to get the best out of it, but i don't really enjoy the camping style gameplay(thanks Andrew for bringing it up). I always think of using the coins and abilities and base shots in a fun way but these things don't integrate very well. I wish I could shoot the enemy then bounce away then flip the coin and maybe finish with another shot or second coin or visa versa. Trying to shoot the coin on the move is fun but the dmg output makes it very underwhelming. Instead of reducing the pips it could cost/use-up more pips, like 4 pips so that you only get 1200dmg/2 coins at 600dmg/coin. Then you have to wait for it to regen pips and forced to get into battle to finish the enemy. (less changes to the Saati we know). Imagine the coin rework with some good scaling duration card, you could make a safe area where flanks would have to deal with high ability UNAVOIDABLE damage to protect your backline or use the coin the intended way and shoot behind the shield or wall for the low hp champion, it would really make a different playstyle (and we do need more ability focused damage to make the split on defense items make sense)

I also wish the coin was a single-use ability, and that you could stack them with diminishing returns to hit multiple enemies… Like in the game ULTRAKILL 💀💀💀 It would be very funny if the enemy shooting the coin would damage Saati too, in this game it would be more like an eye for an eye and I don't think this has ever happened to an ability cast before.

I agree, Saati may have actually cool and diverse talents, but her cards look like Horse's cards, they look like a joke. If they went with single-shot coin, then I think Heads or Tails as a talent would become obsolete as heck (at least it would hurt in opportunity cost, not directly like Eternal). If we want this talent to be ultimate cover-denial talent, then we can revert it to hitting only one enemy, but let it go through shields and barriers, but with reduced damage (300-350). It would make the coin feel impactful and it can have its use, when fighting comps with a bunch of shields. And I ain't gonna lie. Throwing single-use coins during Wallbang would be so cool. Almost having that Ultrakill vibe. And well, she is a Trickshot after all.

Very good suggestions! When reworking the coin if you want to keep the "Coin-ULT-Combo", you could change it so that you no longer have to shoot the coin in order to fix it but just fix it by refiring the ability. And make the coin not be destroyed by her ult.

The reason why Saati’s ult charge card is so low compared to Seris’ is because of the type of ults they have. Saati’s got a piercing poke that’re great for finishing off low health enemies whereas Seris has arguably one of the best combo ults in the game, but as she’s a Support she builds her charge slower compared to Saati, even if you’re mainly DPSing with her. Me and my buddy were messing with bots and we tried getting our ults as fast as possible. He got his as Seris in about 40 seconds whereas I was able to get mine in about 16. And this was *before* the coin could clone bullets.

While they're at it they should also fix the description for Improvised. "The Dead Ringer Decoy is now rigged to explode!" and "The Dead Ringer decoy will now explode" are essentially the same sentence repeated back to back. Not only it's a repetition, not only this is the only talent with an introduction that's just unnecessary flavor text, but in the past they even mentioned how they need to keep talents descriptions concise for size purposes, why is this an exception ? And it gets even worse when we consider that the talent originally had a different description with its own different introductory sentence, then they changed it but decided "You know what ? Let the talent still have an embellishing sentence and make it even less meaningful than the previous !". Like, huh ??????

Saati used to be one of my fav character, and there’s so much potential with a TRICKSHOT character. The coin is cool, but they should add some sort of mobility, where you do more damage if you do a certain ability. Give her an ability where you like gain momentum gameplay wise with like headshots or ability usage. She’s so cool, and they could do so much.

Saati is already a blue character with black and yellow eyes that shoots coins, i feel like making the coins like those from ultrakill would be a good rework. Make them a hard to hit but high damage option, and allow Saati to use all her pips to deal a really high burst by throwing out all four coins. When I play saati, i never use coin and rarely use decoy, its all just the handcanon and the kickback. I personally would like both the coin and decoy changed, but the coin is the only one that really needs it.

If devs rework the coin to work as you say I hope the ricochet targets the enemy with the lowest health around because, otherwise, it would suck imo. The coin is kinda tricky to shoot if you have lagg or fps issues, I wonder if it would be too much/op/unfair if you could auto-aim the first shoot at the coin by pressing left-click again but subsequent shots would require you to manually aim at it and left-click it. It is frustrating to miss the shots due to either server lagg, fps drops and connectivity issues with the server.

Saati desperately needs a card rework for almost every card. She has a total of 8 viable cards which is half of her total which shouldn’t be a thing. Every card should have SOMETHING it can be used for. The ult spam build for saati is very stupid and I avoided using it every time I played saati so I don’t feel like an asshole for playing it and the one time I did I went 26-0(this was back when it only hit one target). Last thing is they need to have a card that interacts or includes the pips because the regen on them feels like garbage if you aren’t running coin talent

I would try Saati with coin ,that not freeze in air ,but deal 600(and increase the dmg with card or in depending of flying time of this coin). And with the shooting copy as a playable escape option. And why she cant recharge pips for streak of sucsessfull shots? P.S Some ideas: 1.) With 1st talent Coin is not disappear after shot and you can shot it during entire trajectory 2) with 1 and 2 talents Saati's jump should cost 4 tips as it was before 3) obviously , the Copy needs buff (mb invis without detection ,or unlimited lifetime of copy, idk)

I like heads or tails simply for the fact that it is good against shields. this gives saati a pretty useful niche for teams that would otherwise struggle against big shields. don't forget that. also her normal weapon shot should be buffed a bit so there is incentive to use it instead of spamming coins

tbh blast back talent should just slow enemies after hit vs giving a Base Bonus Damage when they get booped for x seconds and they should re-reduce the cost of the paper saati's on the exploding paper saati talent because it just requires too much investment (especially with the invisibility nerfs on her cards + illumination change) to be worth it otherwise. I think her ult size should be reduced though since the coin ult talent is a spammable thing.. And you cannot get rid of the coin as an enemy player so it kind of denies that space to anyone without a deployable or shield to absorb majority of the damage.

theres something i think would make saatis coin more worth it but it would change a decent bit, just make her coin not sit still in the air so you have to shoot it while its moving. it would make it so you have to have decent aim and also means you cant just necessarily throw it around a corner because it could fly too far away form an enemy. then the card where you mentioned making the coin float for longer just make it so it makes the coin paise for say .1 second per level .5 at max so you can keep it floating at max but your also using 5 whole points just for that.

I always thought her coin should work in a way where it requires precision and timing. I think every time you successfully hit it, it should deactivate and "bounce" to a different location, where you have to time and aim your shot precisely again. If you miss the timing or the aiming once, it disappears. And maybe like the third shot deals double damage and 3 is the most times you can hit it or something like that. I think that also would make her cooler instead of a random coin flying in the air for no reason.

I never understood why her ricochet attack wasn't an attack that you aim at a target and would ricochet to nearby enemy... dealing increased damage each time... then make that head of tail allow it to ricochet on allies if no enemies in range... without dealing damage but stacking multiplier... multiplier would be up to 7 to stay in the theme of saati I hate the concept of shooting a coin... that's dumb...

her dead ringer are stupid aswell... it should reduce the "illuminate" stealth detection by 100% for any enemies within firing unit range of the dead ringer... that dead ringer would remain until destroyed... improvised talent would remain the same. the card stealth increase can be buffed so that it's .5sec/rank... up to 2.5 sec. that would synergize with other stealth champion well by removing the detection... tho I think it should be the purpose of the smoke bomb of skye but whatever..

I never understood the point of her pip mechanics tho... they don't sense to have any purpose...other than being different and there... there's so many different way to fix her... that 1 pip coin that explode once, make sense but everyone is playing for her ult so why even bother ... just make it her alt fire once 777 passthrought walls... and allow it to damage your own dead ringer.... that would bring some synergy gameplay with the improvised talent. and then you could make the coin really OP as it was by making it a ULT.

In fairness Seris' ult dosn't deal damage. Sure shot would actually be great if Saati's ult did 4,000 damage a bullet and she got 3 bullets. It's mediocre because having actual skill to wall bang is not properly rewarded. Remove paper design as a card yup. Hide should probably just read teleport back to spawn because of how worthless stealth and mobility are for running away from something like evie or willow or koga or every character. She really just needs 3 separate cards that at max do a stacking 33.3% all damage reduced while aiming at coin for a total of 99.9%. ( 9:50 "until somebody dives me and I die", is the real issue). Make players fully commit to standing in place getting head shot while shooting coin if they choose coin. Dead ringer as a base skill should mount you so you can run away in stealth if you don't get shot. Why do none of her cards effect her little resource triangles? Why don't they have a card that pulls enemies to within 1 yard of her from any range? Faster the further from saati they are so that you can play her as a melee with knockback. Like the turtle hook but not 0 meters away. The coin is fun because what you are actually doing is shooting straight down range with the gun and having a coin on your flank you shoot from time to time to check flank. Its play feel is basically Ying. Taking about removing coin is like talking about removing teleport from Ying. These characters can counter each other, it's healthy for the game to have both. 23:00 It is a skill shot being a moving target while shooting a stationary target and alternating to multiple moving targets trying to kill you. Remember a Saati player is flicking mouse side to side fighting 2 fights (or more) at once while every other dps is just shooting the 1 guy in front of them. Thats much less skillful. The same people who complain about Saati not having enough killing blows, and having a ton of damage, are the people who always check stats and complain snipers have a lot of killing blows and low damage. Whatever stat you give a moron they will complain that other person is doing bad instead of improving themselves. I fully agree about the space program and buck's bounce house. The fix is to make sentinel vastly cheaper for flanks (only), like 50 coins. I actually love your solution but it doesn't work for characters far away or in some weird vertical cubby hole. Remove her ult tec of shooting coin. Do your suggestion but add a base passive, when Satti deals a headshot (with her actual gun) create a coin at that location (for free) that deals headshots. This way she can deal with high ground snipers and low ground blasters and flying characters provided the player has aim. (players who body shot will get no benefit) Low ground Dredge spamming a door being a huge issue as you cannot coin down from a high perch. Cover is often over exploited in this game by low skill players "playing it safe" So having a ricochet at 600 yards straight forward would be super helpful and mix up her play style more.

I think the idea of how they should change Saati’s coin is a great idea, but I do see a few balancing issues with the proposed numbers I think rather than 600 dmg for a single shot coin, it should be closer to 450-500, especially if they were to reduce the cost of the coin to 1 pip rather than 2. Being able to deal 3600 with auto aim coins (600 dmg x 6 coins. 1 pip per coin) would be far far too much. I believe that they should reword her “Heads or tails” talent to instead increase the pip cost of the coin (to either 2 or 3 depending if the pip cost reduction were to be added) but make them explode and deal more damage (500-600) Saati should also have an invis play style with her “Improvised” talent. Improvised should either add 2 seconds to her inerrant invis, or they should buff the card to 2.5 seconds at lvl 5. And finally, they should definitely look to fix the “pseudo cripple” her “blast back” has, as it is just unfair and kinda janky

buck knocks up and shoots you in the air and heals and cc and does 1000 dmg head shots, why is it a problem saati has knock up, she cant heal and do 1000 dmg head shots and cc? in addition to that dredge sits behind walls and spams dmg + has get outta jail free ability and a 0cd harpoon talent insighting more spam i dont see how saati coin is any different other than the lack of single damage and no cauterise application and saati's get away is crap. talking about playing against something annoying - evie is a problem too. she's fun2play for evie players, of course, but when it comes to play AGAINST her, its annoying and you can't really do much if you don't have hard cc abilities in team. especially when she has that talent with recall blink .-.

How about this, Her coin consumes 1 pip but actually hitting the coin, consumes 3 pips for every shot. Also while I'm at it, I going to add a bit to her talents. Improvised, Activating Dead Ringer launches Satti backwards, similar to how Blast Back works. Window of Opportunity, no Longer gains 20% damage. Activating Back Blast automatically hits any enemy caught in its Blast with its Primary Weapon. Consumes ammo and is considered weapon damage. Heads or Tail, Hitting an enemy with Satti Primary weapon genrates 1 pip.

1) so make it useless? 2)why? 3)so a second coin called "black blast" ? 4)so give her infinite pip generation (you do realize her weapon got no recoil and no inaccuracy.. even when falling... so hitting a target isn't really an issue... heck she can even snipe... her weapon is more accurate than the sniper rifles)... this would allow her to chain black blast one after another only pausing to reload... like a bounce house buck cancer build.

@@mrinanis Here's my Thought process. You use Heads or Tail for the Coin Spam while you use the other builds for something else that are more in line with there cards. Then you buff all of her cards to similar values as most champions, that way most people will no longer complain about Coin Spam Satti as it would be locked behind a Talent. I always figured that you had to be more in range for Back Blast to actually work like some other abilities. As most of the Satti players generally bee line towards me. Also Window of Opportunity would have acted more like Lianas Grace Talent. The only difference would be that you had to hit the enemy with the ability. Hitting them with a gaureenteed 1 shot. Then you follow up with the next kill shots.

@@mrinanis Also they should make a game mode called What If? Where certain champions get 1 reworked Talent or be given an extra effect onto it. Then every so often, when they update the game a new champion gets the same treatment. Keeping the game fresh.

I like the one shot, bigger damage coin. I don't think 600 is a good number though, a ricochet bullet should do less damage. I could see maybe 75% of primary fire damage.

If so make it a skill shot with lower pip cost just like andrewchicken said. Her invisibility definitely needs reworked with the underwhelming deployable. Are you a Saati coin spammer?
