Gonna pick one up. @nuttylmao You also have a lot of stream decks. Have you been experiencing lag on buttons lately? I'm spreading around in PC hubs, external 3.0 hubs, etc... then lags again. Been happening for a month or so. even simple scene changes happen when it feels like it at times... just thought of it, when you showed all, of your decks. (probably a penis joke in there...)

By the way .. A workaround for not having a prompter at all is using "nvidia AI eye contact" filter and use a browser based teleprompter. Throw that at your main screen, paste your text, read and have the AI fix your eyes to appear looking into the camera. Yes, we all know its creepy but its a solution that is absolutely free.

you could make the overlay chat on streamelements way taller, and just show the bottom on the scene, that way you can scroll moving the source down, and catchup with chat you missed. And you can map it to another dial on the streamdeck

I've gottent to like your channel and hey, I like your little improvements too, the crosshairs one in particular. So simple yet so useful. I'd LOVE to see Prompter Text Mode inside Camera Hub updated so that I could write or pre-load different scripts in there. Right now there's just one text area for scripts, would be wonderful to have some tabs in there allowing a script to be typed in each tab area so that I could then just jump between each one at the click of a mouse or a stream deck button. I need to be able to jump quickly between scripts and right now it's very clumsy trying to do that. I could put each script in its own paragraph but naah.....introduces too many limitations to the workflow. I'm a simple type of guy :) Here's hoping the Text Mode is updated to make it more versatile so that it can handle multiple script fast access :)

My first prompter was one of those small ones that only fits a small cellphone, it wasn't big enough. I did DIY my 2nd prompter, it sucked. Not really but it looked janky when I took it out in public for other uses. Several months before Elgato brought out their's I bought another one off Amazon that I use with a 15" portable monitor. It works well and looks professional when I put it in front of other people. Together I paid almost as much as the Elgato. I have used it for a monitor for doing software tutorials, it gives the viewer the impression that you are narrating over previously recorded video. I've used it for reading chat from a browser during live streams. I've tried multiple prompter programs but I haven't found one I like yet, free or paid. I've had my best luck just using a word processor and scrolling through a document I've formatted to look good on the prompter. I love your ideas for OBS, I'll have to try those.

So far the one MAJOR issue I've run into is that my Sony ZV-E10 will overheat with the universal attachment cloth that goes over the camera to block light. My camera has never overheated before. So this may be a deal breaker for me.
@Q8Webmaster Жыл бұрын
You don’t need it with Zv-e10! also open the camera screen so that it gets colder. Worst case is to buy Ulanzi fan for your camera.
@delsarcade Жыл бұрын
@@Q8Webmaster Good suggestion, I did indeed have the screen closed! I completely forgot about that, thanks! No worries, though. I actually pulled out my spare Lumix G95 to have a semi-permanent setup fixed to this thing. That will free up my second (smaller) ZVE-10 for other camera angles in my home Arcade. I appreciate the suggestion!

@@delsarcade Glad to help! I am waiting for my Teleprompter to reach in Feb. I do use Teleprompters and never had heating issues. I bought the Ulanzi fan (just in case), the only downside of the fan is the noise and the solution is a Professional mic that can eliminate the noise. Try with the screen open first, Zve10 is very successful camera that should never overheat easily.

I actually have (well HAD) the Teleprompter 1. The teleprompter was mid. The mirror itself was always blurry leaving my footage to be recorded in a lesser quality. 2. It also doesn't come with adapters like the Elgato Prompter does, why is this an issue? Because EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you want to change out the camera, change out the lens, hell change out anything you need to remove the cloth that envelops the camera and remove said camera. IF you don't have a dummy battery or a quick release mount (for the camera) this gets extremely tedious and annoying. This isn't even including that IF you have a longer lens on your camera you then have to unscrew the base plate to move it backwards and again...this process gets immensely tedious. With Prompter you can just screw on the adapter you need/want to the lens and just slide the camera in (assuming your camera works with the mounts so you don't need to change the regular base plate AND assuming you don't need that lens for anything else AND that the prompter will stay on a mount of some sort on a desk). Then of course the whole Elgato ecosystem &programs just works beautifully together vs any regular ol setup WITHOUT the Elgato programs and products.
