Wow that sounds like me. I got my daughter's stuffed animals and place them around the house and walked around like I was a sniper LOL my wife said have you lost your mind. I said no I have found it and now I'm enjoying life..I killed a rabbit at 40 yards, practice makes progress, great video, keep up the good work bro!!

The Pro version of this and the longer ones, are better shooters! The Pro versions are thicker, more robust,way more stable to shoot. They feel like a real weapon. The longer versions, shoot with more authority and the dart flies in higher speed, thus fearther too! So, if you want more accuracy, go thicker (Pro versions) if you want more power, go longer. If you want both, get the longer Pro version. Tim Wells version is also longer and thicker if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, it's the only version I cant find here in Europe, to complete my collection of all of them! I don't know which one I like more, they are all great to shoot, a lot of fun and really deadly for hunting game. They now make the Speed Demon Darts, that are even deadlier than the older version of their hunting darts. They made the perfect dart, by removing some length which also means less weight! They fly faster and they do the most damage of all of the darts. It's literally one hit instant kill!!

Ok. This is my first time on this channel. But I can tell you. Even if he isn’t this bubbly. The use of this blowgun will cause this same feeling and reaction. I just got mine yesterday and found a video to show a co worker. But its all true. This thing is fun. Especially with ammo being so expensive right now it’s a great plinking small game hunting tool.

Great addition to the arsenal! I've had mine for about 10 years now. Awesome for small game once you get accurate. The new razor darts are devastating if you sharpen them. BUY MANY EXTRA DARTS!! You'll loose a bunch and the cones are fragile. Try making your own darts as well. Lots of videos on that to get you started. Enjoy!!!

In the 70s and early 80s We used to roll darts from paper. Sometimes we included a needle in the point to shoot it in somebody's ass hahahaaaa We made are blowguns look like a Kalasnikov with black and green isolation tape. The good old days.

Theres two sizes available in my country 60" and 47". 60" one comes with two parts that has screws and you just attach them together. Which one should i go for? I know people say longer is more accurate but its two different pipes that you screw together, would that make it less accurate despite being longer when compared to that 47" which is (to my knowledge) one solid pipe? Longer is also clumsier, but it has greater range also. Does anyone have 47" one, do you hunt with it and what is the effective range of it?

I think 40 feet or less is probably the most effective range to work with. I bought the Tim Wells version which is a lot bigger and heavy duty. I still believe closing the distance is best. I don’t believe I’m allowed to hunt per se with this, but I could do pest control with it.

Morning buddy. You know that looks like a very useful and serviceable weapon. If you can figure out a reliable way to make the cups on the darts, you could have unlimited ammo. My first thought was thin cardboard wrapped around a manufactured one as a template and hot glued. Insert an appropriate size nail or BBQ skewer and you're in business. However Cardboard doesn't take much abuse. My other idea was the thin plastic from a milk jug. It might work like cardboard, but have better durability. 👍

Lomg time blowgunner here, glad you discovered them! You may want to pick up a cold steel professional big bore blowgun... 3.0mm aluminum walls as opposed to 1.5-1.7mm. much stronger, and the extra weight helps stabilize the barrel for target acquisition. Check out boar hog darts too, vastly superior to cold steels.

Back in the day we while camping we had darts with round hard plastic instead of the cones. We would wait until dark and shoot each other using just the plastic balls. It would sting like a paint ball! Sure would scare you when getting hit! This thing you have is too powerful and big caliber for that. Thanks for a fun review.

I have spikes especially made for blow guns. They are like short nails. I think they are almost to heavy. When your darts get heavier the vilocity will be lower, and the weight will make them drop earlier. So you have 2 disadvantages with heavier darts. I think bamboo skewers perform better than nails.

6061 T6 Aluminium is hell of a blowgun material. Coldsteel blowgun is the only commercial weapon that's actually serious and passionate about the sport/killing/hunting
