I have a video dropping tomorrow and Monday on this as well. Honestly Canon have done well, we just need some real world usage when the production models are out. Exciting times

"2020 needs no introduction" , "if Zeus ever needed a camera" , you just made my day with those!! Happy to hear you are ok, I'm a canon shooter, as a hobby, currently with my 70D but planing to get the R5, the overheating scared me a bit when everyone started talking about it, but than I saw the time limits and saw my video lengths, pretty sure I have nothing to worry about... I thought of selling a kidney for this, but than I realized I'll also need to upgrade my PC to edit those huge files and I'll run out of kidneys, have a bank to recommend? ;-) I liked the video so I hit the like button 3 times ;-)

Channel 8 Currently 2x A6400. I switched last year from a Canon 60D and a Panasonic P2 camera. The leap was HUGE and actually I got back to photography too! I simply couldn’t shoot with the Canon, don’t ask me why... My first DSLR was a Pentax K100D, a great camera even with the set lens (sadly no video). Then I switched to Canon and I wasn’t able to take a good picture (or video) with it... Last year I had the A7iii, BMPCC4k and A6400 for testing and figured out that two A6400 were the best bang for the buck for my documentary projects. (Today I would go with the A7iii and a A6600 for b-roll though, but that’s a completely different price range. My A6400 were 1/2 the commercial price so...).

Fujifilm camera’s were a joke when it came to video until the X-T3 was released almost 2 years. So it hasn’t been that long.

That is incorrect sir, the Fuji X-Pro 2 offered 4K recording and that was launched in 2016.
