One of the coolest parts is having a lot of IRL co-streamers because we get to see the behind the scenes of an event like this including the production that puts it all together. I was really hoping to see the losing teams during the volleyball event compete in a losing bracket. Everyone seemed to enjoy this section alot and it was alot of fun to watch. It would be nice if there was a streamer volleyball event in the future like the dodgeball event

First three events got the stream off to a bad start 1. 99m dash The camera angles weren't too bad as it happened, although I wish they would've played the 0:50 clip instead. The biggest issue here though was that they only showed the finish line clip for literally half a second as the finisher went across. No replay's, no slow-mo or anything. A slow-mo replay with commentating would've made the moment so much clearer and cooler 2. 1m dash Same issue as the 99m dash. They did show a slow-mo later on, but 5 minutes had passed so the hype wasn't there anymore. Also the angle wasn't great. I just wish the judges did a breakdown with video showing how they landed on their rankings 3. Water Bucket Not much to say here, it was 45 minutes of each team getting the exact same results. It do wonder how this even happened though? Surely Ludwig tested out the games before hosting such a big event. With one test you would've realized the buckets were too big, just make them the same size or something Then it got better, but it was a pretty bad start, these three games were essentially the hook to the stream. It's what made people decide if they wanted to keep watching. iirc the stream got up to 60k viewers in the beginning but by the time these events ended it was teetering on 50k 4. Volleyball My only complaint was that in the beginning the streamers were really bad and it never got passed the serve. But later on once we started to see some actual competition it was much better 5. Cube Toss No complaints here. Would've been cool to see like a stream overlay showing each team's distance on the actual throwing range, but that seems complicated 6. Tablecloth Pull Good event. I thought the judges were pretty accurate and clear with their decisions 7. Gymnastics It felt like the judges just slowly overtime rated the performances higher and higher, the contestants in the beginning had no chance. idk how QT got a perfect score. But it's all for fun so who cares Overall im pogging but those first 3 were not great E: Also the two commentators were not great, whenever they started talking or there was downtime I would swap to Esfand's stream E2: Day 2 was great. Loved the simon says guy, extraemily in the basketball event, pentathlon was hype

instead of making all the buckets smaller you shouldve just made the last bucket much bigger. it was too easy to fill the last bucket, that was the issue. people lost plenty of water on the first transfers. this is the kind of thing that should be playtested beforehand, but also should be an obvious solution after the event has ran.

I really like the idea of this event but I have to admit, that Im not a fan of the execution so far. Games probably werent tested properly, otherwise you wouldnt do the water bucket challenge and for the 1,9m run you would use a lot more cameras from different angles. At the end we didnt even get good slow motions footage to see, who actually was first in the run. It was probably more or less guessing, who received the points, just like with the remaining water in the bucket challenge. The lack of audience and the commentators, who dont do a great job in my opinion, create a "lack of vibes". I did enjoy the volleyball and the table cloth competition though and Im still gonna watch it today, I just hope, it gets better. Even the dodgeball event, that was more of an spontaneous idea, seemed to be a lot more polished than this event, though I understand that it is harder to plan that many different competitions. I dont want to be a nagger, because I love it, when Ludwig does big events and I want them to be great and successful, but many things went wrong yesterday and if something like this should be done again, there are many things, you can work on.

by commentators I dont mean Ludwig btw., I mean those 2 commentators, who also judged the gymnastics competition. I dont know, whether they even know the streamers. For example, when we saw rankings of the teams after a competition, instead of just reading, which team got which place....I can read that myself, provide us with additional information, for example, which competitor competed for his team. Or tell us, who that person is, who is competing right now, because noone in the audience will probably know all 32 competitors. It felt, like they would consantly try to stall time... and this is probably the biggest reason, why we have commentators in sports, to stall time, without us noticing it, for example by providing "useful" comments.
