Canonically, the chaos emeralds ARE the Infinity Stones as Sonic is part of the multiverse.

interesting video! in the end of the idw 900th special, sonic has to return the warp topaz to its spot in the cave and there's a "starline was here" written next to the hole for it, so presumably starline also got it from the cave. they also used it to remove the metal virus from the world, utilizing both sonic and silver's super forms, and the kickback sent sonic into blaze's dimension with amnesia. pretty fun arc!!

Actually, The Chaos Crystals maybe have powers based on their names or on their form, like in Ocean Purification Plant, Amy stated that The Power of the Tidal Crystal Moved/Manipulated the Water

@@AreliusAugusteI honestly call cap because it doesn’t even make sense. He super emeralds are the chaos emeralds but with the master emerald powering them. And either way shouldn’t they be in hidden palace? They were in sonic mania. Sonic can just power them with the master emerald.

You missed quite a few but most are already listed by other people in the comments. Here's some more lesser known ones: The Tails Doll Crystal - A sentient gemstone found by Eggman and affixed to the head of a tails plushie to give it life The Mystic Orb - A mysterious artifact of unknown origin found in Sonic 4. It appears to emit a dark energy, and when absorbed by Metal Sonic it gave him the power to rebel against his programming as well as likely lead to abilities like the Dark Shield. Witchcart's Crystal - A magic based gemstone that was found by Witchcart and placed into her staff. It allows her to turn people and objects into crystal. Chaos Emerald Shards - Not really their own gemstones, but they did take on a unique appearance in Sonic Blast. They're what happens when a Chaos Emerald breaks, and can be used as less powerful Chaos Emeralds. The Sceptre of Darkness - While not a gemstone in and of itself, it does have what appears to be a bright purple stone on the top of it. It's likely a gem created out of pure dark magic, something not explored much in the series. It can be used to contain and suppress the power of evil beings, but can be overpowered. The Jeweled Scepter - Probably the single most powerful object in all of Sonic, this staff controls the Power of the Stars which is basically the glue that holds universes together. It was powerful enough to put up a fight against the combined might of both the full set of Chaos Emeralds and the full set of Sol Emeralds. The Key to Babylon Garden - A glowey blue cube that can seemingly control and direct the power of the Chaos Emeralds The Great Emerald(s) - This is what happens when a Chaos Emerald is amped up using Voxai technology. It has the power to mess with their hivemind stuff, Chronicles is werd. Chaos Orbs - These are small clusters of crystallized Chaos Energy that are dropped by enemies in Unleashed. It's not really elaborated on lol. Dream Orb - Found in The Reverie, these orbs have the power to turn dreams into reality.

Hard disagree, the gems are most fun part of 06. And because they're glitched, you can spam the powers as much as you want. They're honestly way more fun than stuff like the emerald powers in Superstars.
