I agree with you 💯 tbh, WINDBREAKER is the 1st manhwa I’ve read & it really set the bar too high. From the art improvement of the author & the plot itself is so good.. I thought this is gonna be boring cz its sports manhwa & I only read it cz of JayShelly but later on I found myself so attached to this story! 😍 I am also rooting for WB animation just like what they did to Lookism. Surely, a lot of ppl would recognize how good this manhwa is 🔥

The story of Windbreaker is honestly too underrated! Like you said, sport manhwa and manga tend to be the same but Windbreaker just stands out from the pack with deep characters and an interesting story (along with great art as well 😊)

ive had wind breaker on my WTR (Want-To-Read) list on anime planet for god knows how long. but just have never gotten around to it. ive seen it has ALOT of chapters which is great cause i dont typically read anything under 50 chapters. because if i get hooked i spend the rest of the day depressed cause there wasn't any more chapters to read... been trying to figure out if i should read wind breaker for months now. but i guess this is the deciding factor i very much enjoy reading TOG so if this gets alot of praise then surely il enjoy it too

My girlfriend made me read it and, given the chapter count, I thought it would take me months to get up to date with it. Nope. I literally finished the 500 current chapters in less than 2 weeks, the last 300 in 5 days. Such a good manhwa. Can't wait for more.

This is defo one of all time favs sports series like haikyuu and slam dunk. This is defo like uwamushi pedal but a bit more harder due to them using Fixie unlike uwamushi who has RB or road bikss which has brakes. Fixie is different and is the hardest to use but if you train well you can use it its basically a fixed gear bike with no brakes but just the crank which is a way to stop also this is also a bit deliquent like so yeah this is amazing.

Not really. Something more along the lines of a Slam Dunk (manga) or a traditional sports manga with more of a drama flavour. There's some action don't get me wrong but not in the barefists brawling every chapter kind of deal.

The manhwa is relatively similar to most other "slice of life action" manhwa, where it is relatively slower than your average action manhwa (any action manhwa) but faster than a straight up slice of life. I think if you're not into character development, relationship building and long narratives you should probably not commit the full way, personally. If you're into these types of manhwa, read like 10 chapters and keep going if you like the narrative (if you like in the first few, you'll for sure like the rest)

Also see that you're a fan of One Piece and I would assume action manhwa! If you're looking stuff like that as well, I suggest Infinite Gatcha (video on my channel), Omnipotent Reader and Nano Machine for decent reads. If you're new to manhwa, I suggest Solo Leveling as it's the easiest read. And a sleeper manhwa that I personally think my be one of the best new action manhwa (if not best) is Wild West Murim. Absolute banger with only about 30 chapters right now and ongoing. Cheers!
