Great tutorial! Encourages me to think out of the box for finishes. Would have never thought to look at a waste basket for a finish! Thanks for a great idea.

So cute! Thanks for a great finishing idea! I’m thinking a Christmas tree could replace the fall foliage! Agree with magnets/washers like Priscilla uses.

Love the idea. I think I would attach the fabric part with a magnet like Priscilla does so that I can change it out for all the seasons.

This was very helpful. I think the finishing tape is a good way to go if you are a beginner. Later you can move to hot glue.

I can’t watch live. I’m a high school teacher. But I can watch re-runs. Kimberly how do you sit in a chair and balance your halo lamp on your lap or whatever you do when stitching in your hiding places. I need something but wanted a floor lamp for home too with magnification. Can’t find what I’m looking for. I’m ready to make an investment. I need a good one. Also, could you have some folks on who use lap frames and stretcher bars? I drop my pattern or lay it down and pick it up a over and over. Please help. Liz Sims.

I have an Ott lite that is like a floor lamp. It also has a magnifier. They are kind of expensive, but if you keep an eye out you can get a good deal. I got my at Hobby Lobby for 60% off. Joann's has them as well. I use either that one or my Halo lamp depending on where I'm stitching.

Thank you. Do you know what number it is or a description so I can look it up? Somewhere I read to be careful that there isn’t a thick, deep, or maybe a solid rim because it will interfere with field of sight. I’m fairly sure I know what was meant, but I don’t know what I’m suppose to look for looks like. Any suggestions.

@@imagatorvetmom just search ott lite. I tossed the box already.
