I don’t understand why this mindset is so hard for most other influencers to have-especially the part about you posting a few videos and making the same salary as a doctor, someone who had to go through years of college and does truly difficult work everyday. That unfortunately is a big part of life. As unfair it may seem. There is always someone out there that gets the world handed to them. Never has to work or even try for anything ever. They wake up and have copious amounts of silver platters full of their heart's desire! All because they woke up. And there you are slaving away. Working your self to the bone just to make it. To survive. Chasing that dream job to HOPEFULLY get out of debt one day. HOPEFULLY MAYBE own a home of your own. HOPEFULLY pay off your student debt. HOPEFULLY not have to eat Raman again for dinner tonight because you're struggling so bad. Yet they eat for free whenever they please at the best restaurants that exist. Because they exist. That will ALWAYS be the case. Guaranteed forever until the day we die! BUT! We all have a purpose! And it looks different for all of us💕

Just remember, easy come, easy go. I’m older, but have grown to see that life is short, but also long and things go in cycles. People who have a lot now, who seem to have been dealt the perfect cards may not be that lucky later in life. This has been my observation.

This was very refreshing to hear. It's important to stay humble, and it's unfortunate how rare it is to find people in your position will say the things you did here. It is very much a privilege to be able to make videos then make huge money off of it, it's also very much true that platforms can be easily lost. I wish more would recognize that. Like, if a creator is big enough, they don't even have to work for a while. They can just decide to not upload anything and live off all the money they've made, uploading again when they want more. I'm not saying this is what you do, but it's certainly something that notoriety allows. I'm not one to be parasocial with online personalities, but I do appreciate your message here and think you set a good example.

I think it’s also important to remember, as you shared, that the reason these influencers have this job is because of the people that follow/subscribe to them and yes of course it’s natural to want to complain about your job but as you said, being an “influencer” would be and is still many people’s dream job. Hmm, Haley I think you make a good point about not forgetting that being able to become a content creator is incredibly lucky. However, I think you must admit that there are bad parts of being a content creator specifically, as for example there is also a lot of burnout in content creation. I think that is concrete evidence that there are hard parts of that job (such as the things that come with being your own boss and having no schedule). Content creators should be allowed to openly talk about that imo and they don't necessarily deserve ridicule. Although yes like you said, they shouldn't forget that they have it better than most. I get that that is not the focus of this video, but I think at least mentioning it quickly would have improved your point. Okay, that's it, thanks for making your videos!

It really comes down to in what stages of your life, you get that fame and money. At young age, when you haven’t had real other jobs, they think it’s earned easily and they are literally better than others. For mature people like Haley, yes jobs are jobs and there are ups and downs but they know to appreciate the position they are in. Higher you rise, harder the fall. At least for some people who have had real other jobs, after being an influencer doesn’t work out or you lose popularity, you know how to make a living thru other jobs than being on a social media.

I understand that any job comes with difficulties (it wouldn't be a job otherwise) I've never been against content creators or influencers but there's so many that I don't like because they don't seem appreciative of the fame they've produced from doing almost nothing and complaining that they're getting hate comments and it's so hard like no... That's what comes with being an influencer, not everyone is going to be influenced by you and like you because you're popular stfu. I understand that hate comments can be awful but jeez some of us are experiencing these comments to our faces and not through a screen. I'm glad you've stood up and said something.
